The popular game *Yakuza 0 Director’s Cut* will be available on Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 5, and PC starting December 8th. It originally released with the Nintendo Switch 2 in June. The game’s PlayStation Store page is now live, and it confirms that the game will also work with the upcoming PlayStation 5 Pro.
This updated version of the popular 2015 action-adventure game, called the Director’s Cut, includes new scenes that provide more satisfying endings for some storylines and characters. It also adds a new online co-op mode called Red Light Raid, where up to four players can team up to fight enemies. Players can choose from a large roster of 60 characters, including different versions of Kazuma Kiryu and Majima Goro, as well as various villains and other personalities.
Unfortunately, the Red Light Raid minigame won’t be ready when the game first comes out; it will be added in an update later on, so we’ll share more details about that soon. Also, players who already own *Yakuza 0* on other platforms won’t be able to upgrade to the *Director’s Cut* or transfer their saved progress. You can find a full review of the game on Nintendo Switch 2 if you’d like to learn more.
