Over 35 million players have already signed up to play GRYPHLINE’s new open world RPG, Arknights: Endfield, before it’s even released.
Just to clarify, this total covers players on PCs, mobile devices, and PlayStation 5. Pre-registering is free, but it usually indicates that someone intends to play the game.
To celebrate the game’s release on January 22nd, several new videos have been published, starting with this launch trailer which includes music by the rock band STARSET.
A new, detailed gameplay trailer has been released, showcasing the game’s blend of action-packed combat similar to Genshin Impact, and automated systems.

Here’s a bit more information from the outing’s press release:
Arknights: Endfield launches a brand new story and world focused on exploration, fast-paced strategic battles, and building up your base. You’ll lead teams of up to four Operators, using their unique abilities, elemental strengths, and teamwork to overcome challenges. The story centers around the Endministrator, or Endmin, a powerful guardian who awakens after ten years to guide Endfield Industries from their headquarters in orbit, the OMV Dijiang.
Our main worry is that there are already a lot of similar gacha games available, especially on the PlayStation 5. We’re concerned we won’t be able to dedicate enough time and effort to make this game successful.
