During an interview with Josh Horowitz, Zack Snyder confirmed he’s discussed continuing the story of Justice League through animation or a comic book if he’d received the backing to do so. He stated, “We’ve definitely talked about it a lot,” indicating the idea has been seriously considered.

The filmmaker explained that today’s entertainment industry is open to many different creative ideas, and even suggested his project could potentially become a Broadway musical. He enthusiastically stated that ‘anything is possible,’ and added that a musical adaptation ‘would be amazing.’

During the interview, Snyder was asked about continuing his original story for fans who still want it. He didn’t rule it out completely, saying, “I would never say that’s impossible.” This comes as fans continue to actively campaign online to see his DC storyline finished.
