Zendaya, Tom Holland Walk First Red Carpet Together in 4 Years

Zendaya and Tom Holland are sharing a brand new look at their romance. 

Zendaya and her husband were first seen as a couple publicly three months after their stylist, Law Roach, mentioned they had married. They appeared together in Spain to promote their new movie, Spider-Man: Brand New Day.

For the photo call, Tom Holland honored his Spider-Man character by wearing a red shirt with a black outfit. Zendaya styled her new bob haircut neatly and wore a short black dress with a sweetheart top and a skirt featuring tassels that looked like spiderwebs.

The usually very private couple offered a rare peek at their relationship, showing some affectionate moments during photos. They held hands while staying socially distanced on the red carpet and playfully interacted as they approached the photo backdrop.

Zendaya and Tom Holland are sure to appear together at more events soon, with the new Spider-Man movie coming out next month alongside The Odyssey, which stars both of them. However, Holland has explained before why they generally avoid public appearances as a couple.

Tom Holland explained to Men’s Health that he prefers to attend premieres for Zendaya’s work privately because he wants the focus to be on her. He said it’s about supporting her achievements, not about him getting attention.

Despite generally keeping their relationship private, Zendaya and Tom Holland occasionally share details about their love story. Although they haven’t confirmed or denied rumors of a marriage since reports surfaced in March, Zendaya recently revealed the moment she knew Holland was the one for her.

Okay, so Zendaya was talking about this on the Modern Love podcast, and it totally hit home for me! She said people often get anxious around others, right? But with him, she didn’t feel any of that. Like, she just knew he was her person, and it was this incredible, calming feeling. Honestly, she described it so perfectly, it’s like she was reading my mind! It’s just… everything felt right, and she wasn’t nervous at all. I totally get that feeling, and hearing her talk about it was amazing.

Indeed, Zendaya’s spidey senses were telling her to stick with Holland. 

She explained she wasn’t anxious at all, but surprisingly peaceful and calm. She realized she actually felt more worried when she wasn’t with him than when she was, which confirmed she was trusting her gut feeling – a good sign, she thought.

Months after their romance was confirmed, Tom gushed over his onscreen and offscreen girlfriend.

 

In a September 1st post, Tom Holland wished Zendaya a happy birthday, affectionately calling her ‘MJ’ – a reference to her character. He ended the message with a playful request for her to give him a call, signing it with kisses (‘xxx’).

The couple put together stylish outfits for a romantic night out in New York City on February 16th, celebrating Valentine’s Day a little late.

Tom celebrated his 27th birthday by sharing a striking new photo on Instagram, playfully calling it “the sexiest picture ever taken of him.” His girlfriend, Zendaya, responded with an enthusiastic heart-eyes emoji.

Zendaya seemed inspired by her character Tashi Duncan while attending the BNP Paribas Open tennis tournament in Indian Wells, California with Tom Holland and her assistant, Darnell Appling. The outing happened just before her movie Challengers came out.

Oh my gosh, you guys, after Tom’s Romeo and Juliet opening night in London, Zendaya was there for him! I mean, she was right there, showing her support, and the pictures… they were holding hands! It was the cutest thing ever, seriously. I’m completely obsessed with them, and seeing her there for him just melted my heart. It was everything!

Okay, so like, when Tom launched his amazing new non-alcoholic beer brand, Bero? I almost died! And Zendaya was there, supporting him, and they were both wearing this gorgeous burgundy color scheme – it was totally coordinated and just… perfect. Seriously, relationship goals right there. I’m obsessed!

I got to see Zendaya while she was filming The Drama up in Newbury, Massachusetts! We even grabbed a quick beer – a Bero, if you’re curious – together. It was such a cool experience!

Tom announced on Instagram that he was trying a ‘Bero’ – a popular drink – for the first time while out at a bar, sharing a photo of his girlfriend smiling behind him. He promised to share an update on how it tasted.
