The world of Invincible is packed with unbelievably powerful and diverse fighters. You’ll find creatures capable of destroying continents alongside humans who can transform into super-intelligent dinosaurs, just for something to do. Each character has their own motivations – some seek universal domination, while others simply want to protect their loved ones. Everyone is constantly struggling to survive, and some are far more skilled at it than others. These powerful individuals have the ability to drastically change the fate of the universe.
The Invincible TV show is doing a great job introducing characters and the challenges they face, but the comic books have already finished telling the whole story – including how powerful each character ultimately becomes. Today, we’re going to look at the ten strongest fighters from the Invincible comics. This isn’t a strict ranking, but we’re only considering characters who rely on their own strength. That means we’re not including anyone who uses weapons, like Space Racer, or those who aren’t really fighters, like the Entity who can manipulate time. Keep in mind, this will contain major spoilers as we break down the power levels of Invincible’s strongest characters.
10) Atom Eve

Eve is a bit of an enigma. She’s arguably the weakest fighter on this list in her normal state, but she also possesses incredible, potentially limitless power. When facing extreme danger, she can manipulate anything – even living beings. In theory, she could completely incapacitate anyone, but she hasn’t demonstrated this ability against powerful opponents like the Viltrumites. This makes her both the most powerful and the most vulnerable character on the list, as she hasn’t fully unleashed her capabilities.
9) Argall

Argall was the first emperor of the Viltrumite Empire, and he built his power through the belief that strength was the most important thing. Though he only appeared briefly in the comic series, his influence was felt throughout the entire story. Argall’s incredible power allowed him to unite the Viltrumites and conquer many planets ruthlessly. For thousands of years, no one could defeat him, until Thadeus finally succeeded. There’s no doubt Argall was one of the most powerful warriors in the universe.
8) Thadeus

Thadeus was one of the most powerful Viltrumites, but he famously turned against his people. He assassinated Argall in an attempt to halt the Viltrumite empire’s conquest of the galaxy. Though he didn’t defeat Argall in a straight fight, Thadeus lived for an exceptionally long time, allowing him to become even stronger with age. He played a crucial role in the Viltrumite War, assisting Invincible and Omni-Man in the final assault that destroyed Viltrum. While often outmatched by his opponents, Thadeus was incredibly powerful, and his fight against Kreig remains his most impressive solo feat.
7) Anissa

Wow, Anissa was seriously intimidating throughout the whole series! I remember being shocked when she first showed up and completely dominated Mark – and then she did it again when he was way stronger, even surpassing his dad! It’s crazy to think she lived through both the Viltrumite culling and that devastating virus, and she channeled all that pain and fury into incredible strength. She was a force to be reckoned with right up until the very end, honestly going toe-to-toe with some of the most powerful characters. She might not have been the strongest Viltrumite ever, but she was definitely one of their best fighters, no question.
6) Conquest

Conquest was the Viltrum Empire’s go-to warrior for eliminating any danger. He was a brutal fighter who enjoyed utterly destroying his opponents. While the animated series explored his hidden loneliness, the comic book version was purely a villain. He actually liked causing planets to be destroyed, and even thanked Mark for fighting back, as it gave him a reason to unleash his power. Defeating Conquest pushed Mark to his absolute limit – he would have lost both times if others hadn’t intervened. Conquest is a terrifying enemy who lives for battle.
5) Allen the Alien

Allen is an incredibly powerful warrior, arguably one of the toughest in the universe. He was specifically created through bio-engineering to challenge even the Viltrumites, and he’s fully capable of doing so. Uniquely, Allen grows stronger each time he nearly dies, and this has made him surpass even many Viltrumites in power. He can fight on par with characters like Omni-Man, and while he isn’t at the very peak of power in this universe, he’s a formidable opponent who can certainly hold his own.
4) Battle Beast

Battle Beast is an incredibly powerful and dangerous fighter. He lives for battle, constantly seeking out stronger opponents and won’t stop until someone can finally defeat him – which is no easy feat. He’s strong enough to easily overpower most beings in the universe. He even fought Thragg, one of the most powerful beings, to a draw. Though Thragg ultimately won their second fight, Battle Beast pushed him to his absolute limit, demonstrating just how formidable he is. When it comes to raw fighting ability and a thirst for combat, he’s unmatched.
3) Omni-Man

Omni-Man is incredibly powerful, considered one of the strongest Viltrumites ever. He was already a highly skilled warrior when he arrived on Earth, and fighting other Viltrumites only made him even stronger. By the middle of the story, he was powerful enough to potentially rule the Viltrum Empire. As the last surviving heir of the previous emperor, he possessed exceptional strength and had dedicated his life to becoming more powerful. Nolan consistently defeats all other Viltrumites he fights, and at his peak, he’s nearly invincible.
2) Thragg

For most of the series, Grand Regent Thragg was considered the strongest being imaginable. He led the Viltrum Empire for centuries, crushing anyone who opposed him with overwhelming power. He was virtually unbeatable, and no one could match his raw strength. Thragg faced incredibly powerful opponents, even battling on the surface of the sun. He famously defeated and wore the pelt of Battle Beast as a cape, solidifying his status as the ultimate villain, a title fully justified by his immense strength.
1) Invincible

Mark began his journey as an ordinary human, but through relentless training, he became the most powerful being in the universe. He exceeded even the formidable Thragg, ultimately defeating and killing him – a clear demonstration of his unmatched strength. Having battled nearly every major threat and powerful fighter, Mark didn’t always win, but he ultimately proved he wasn’t unbeatable, just the closest thing to it.
