2025 PC Game Now 100% Free to Keep on Steam

Okay, so this game that came out in 2025 is totally free on Steam right now, which is awesome because you normally have to buy it! And the best part? It’s a permanent freebie – you get to keep it forever. I checked for us Steam Deck players, but Valve doesn’t have any info on whether it’ll run, so it’s listed as ‘Unknown’ for now. We’ll have to download it and test it ourselves. Even if it doesn’t work right away, they might add Steam Deck support later, so I’d still add it to your library just in case!

From now until May 19th, Steam players can get Psycho’s horror game, Terrors to Unveil – Day Off, completely free! It’s a shorter game that normally costs $5, but it’s received positive feedback, with a 72% approval rating from almost 100 reviews. Keep in mind this is the second episode in a series, but each episode can be played on its own, and the first one is also available for free. The developers are already working on the third episode!

New Free Steam Game Available Until May 19

Terrors of Unveil is a horror game played in episodes, blending psychological scares with exploration. Each episode features a unique and unsettling story. In this installment, you take on the role of Jack Williams, a 26-year-old who rents a secluded cabin in the woods for a relaxing weekend with his dog. However, the getaway quickly becomes something far more sinister.

One player described the game as a brief but scary experience, filled with suspense, sudden shocks, and opportunities to investigate your surroundings. They particularly enjoyed the snowy environment and the cozy cottage. Another reviewer simply called the game’s atmosphere “amazing” and said they loved it.

While around 30% of player reviews are negative, citing boring gameplay and weak writing, the game is free to download on PC. This means players can try it without any financial risk, though it will take roughly an hour to complete a standard playthrough, or up to two hours for those who prefer a more careful approach.
