True-life films frequently surpass even the most imaginative screenplays, and the Roofman trailer definitely fits this description.
In a remarkable true account, the film “Roofman” chronicles the life of Jeffrey Manchester (Channing Tatum), a former Army Ranger and hard-pressed father who resorts to burglarizing McDonald’s restaurants by creating openings on their rooftops, hence earning him his nickname, Roofman. After successfully evading prison, he covertly dwells within a Toys “R” Us for six months without being discovered, all while devising his subsequent plan. However, when he develops feelings for Leigh (Kirsten Dunst), a divorced mother captivated by his irresistible appeal, his double life starts to crumble, triggering an engaging and suspenseful chase as his past catches up.
The movie also features actors such as Ben Mendelsohn, LaKeith Stanfield, Juno Temple, Melonie Diaz, Uzo Aduba, Lily Collins, Jimmy O. Yang, and Peter Dinklage alongside Channing Tatum and Kirsten Dunst.
