5 EastEnders spoilers next week: Anthony Trueman returns and Alfie Moon makes Zoe Slater confession

Next week, Nicholas Bailey’s character, Anthony Trueman, returns to Walford. He becomes enraged when Pierre Moullier’s character, Oscar Branning, admits to the assault on Anthony’s father, Patrick (played by Rudolph Walker).

Additionally, Alfie Moon (played by Shane Richie) is on the verge of revealing the truth to his wife, Kat (portrayed by Jessie Wallace), concerning their daughter Zoe Slater (actress Michelle Ryan), who has gone missing.

As the couple watches, their son Tommy (Sonny Kendall) increasingly gets swayed by the influence of the unsavory teenager Joel Marshall (Max Murray).

Harry Mitchell (Elijah Holloway) faces big drama when a gun goes missing.

Elsewhere, Callum Highway (Tony Clay) continues to grow closer to Johnny Carter (Charlie Suff).

Finally, there’s a happy surprise in store for Nigel Bates (Paul Bradley).

1. Anthony Trueman returns and takes action over Oscar Branning confession

Before the wedding of Patrick and Angela Wynter, Anthony shows up unexpectedly early, intending to surprise him. However, he finds out instead that his father suffered injuries during a recent burglary.

New pictures also show Anthony coming face-to-face with his ex, Kat.

On that very day, Oscar pays a visit to Patrick and admits he was the perpetrator of the assault. This revelation sets off a severe anxiety episode in Patrick.

In my opinion, all chaos ensues when the family learns about the matter at hand. Feeling outraged, I call for Oscar to be handed over to the authorities immediately.

But Jack Branning (Scott Maslen) says this should be Patrick’s decision.

Peter Beale, portrayed by Thomas Law, insists on getting explanations from Lauren Branning, played by Jacqueline Jossa, upon discovering that she has been hiding something regarding her brother’s actions.

Later, Lauren demands that Howie Danes (Delroy Atkinson) takes care of the issue at hand, otherwise she will disclose his extortion of both her and Oscar.

But Anthony keeps getting in the way of Howie’s efforts to speak to Patrick.

At the police station, Oscar feels certain that he’ll be returning to jail, while Yolande frets over Patrick.

A truce is reached with Howie, but have his actions been revealed, and what will Oscar’s fate be?

Is Yolande devastated as Patrick suggests pushing back the wedding date, though can there be a way to convince him to reconsider this decision?

2. Alfie Moon drops Zoe Slater bombshell amid Joel Marshall’s shock influence on Tommy Moon

As a film enthusiast, when Ross Marshall flat-out denied Joel access to his beloved, questionable influencer, I made it my mission to scrape together the cash for the tickets myself.

Later, Lily Slater discovers a fraudulent profile created by Tommy that is favoriting harmful comments regarding Stacey Slater.

In a natural and easy-to-read manner, the sentence could be rephrased as follows: Kat and Alfie talk to Tommy, and what he says makes them worry even more about Joel’s impact on him.

In a simpler phrasing: Joel lands a position cleaning phones for Harry, and persuades Tommy to assist him. However, during their work, Tommy discovers Kat’s phone amongst the supposedly misplaced ones, listens to Alfie’s voicemail on it, and hears his incriminating confession regarding Zoe.

1. It falls to Alfie to administer some firm guidance towards Tommy, which Kat suggests, but when Tommy discloses certain information, Alfie becomes unsettled.

2. While Kat proposes that Alfie should offer a stern approach towards Tommy and Alfie agrees, it’s Tommy sharing what he knows that makes Alfie feel rattled.

3. Kat recommends that Alfie should deal with Tommy harshly, but when Tommy lets something slip, Alfie gets spooked.

4. It’s up to Alfie to mete out tough advice to Tommy, according to Kat, yet it’s the information Tommy reveals that leaves Alfie unsettled.

5. Alfie is tasked with giving Tommy a hard time, as suggested by Kat, but when Tommy divulges secrets, Alfie gets thrown off balance.

In simpler terms, Alfie asks Stacey to attempt persuading Tommy from revealing the secret to Kat. Meanwhile, there’s additional turmoil as Joel speaks disrespectfully to Lily and Amy Mitchell (also known as Ellie Dadd), prompting them to respond and challenge his behavior.

Tommy is shocked when Joel loses it, and Kat orders him home.

At The Queen Vic, there’s a massive disagreement between Tommy and Kat, leaving Kat dazed. However, just as the tension is at its peak, Alfie makes an unexpected revelation.

Simultaneously, Ravi Gulati, known as Aaron Thiara, menaces Joel about the missing phones. Meanwhile, Ross and Vicki Fowler, with Alice Haig being Vicki, feel disgusted by Joel’s behavior towards Amy, leading to another escalation of tension.

At the Slater residence, Gillian Wright’s character, Jean Slater, implores Kat to unite the family while they scour for a missing Tommy. However, the question remains: will they find him?

And how will Kat react over the news of Zoe?

3. Harry Mitchell panics over a missing gun

Harry, Francesca Henry (Gina Knight), Molly Rainford (Anna Knight), and Dayo Koleosho’s character Kojo Asare are preparing to head out to a carnival together.

However, Okie Okyere, also known as Aayan Ibikunle Shoderu, continues to put pressure on Harry, leading him to reluctantly permit Okie and his associates to utilize Kojo’s apartment for storing drugs.

Harry becomes increasingly suspicious towards George Knight, played by Colin Salmon, whom he suspects of hidden intentions. Meanwhile, unaware Gina attempts to express her affection for Harry but encounters repeated rejections from him as he remains focused on his suspicions.

Then Ravi walks in on Okie showing Harry a gun, and demands that Harry get rid of it.

George shows up at the exact moment when Harry’s contemplating his next move regarding it. However, George’s primary concern is whether Harry is playing with Gina’s feelings.

Harry later decides to bury the gun, but Ravi pulls him up on this unwise move.

Then, when Harry goes to retrieve the gun, he finds it’s gone.

4. Johnny Carter helps Callum Highway with Lexi Pearce as affair is revisited

Callum takes delight in Johnny returning home ahead of schedule from the cruise, yet he feels a pang of envy upon spotting him on a date at The Albert.

The next day, I found myself stepping in to assist Callum in handling a sensitive matter involving his stepdaughter, Lexi Pearce (Isabella Brown).

What exactly is going on with Lexi, and why does Johnny step in?

As a movie buff, I can’t help but wonder if it’s just a question of when Ben Mitchell, played by Max Bowden and Callum’s husband, will soon be back on our screens, will he inevitably uncover the secret affair?

5. Julie Bates gives Nigel Bates a sweet surprise

Nigel is suspicious when wife Julie (Karen Henthorn) gets a phone call and seems uneasy.

However, when Julie later unveils his cherished car in Walford, it appears that the mystery has been resolved.

But as it turns out, when Julie brings Nigel’s prized car to Walford unexpectedly, it seems like the mystery is now solved.

or

But upon Julie bringing Nigel’s favorite car to Walford, the solution to the mystery suddenly becomes clear.
