As an observer, I can’t help but feel a mix of joy and sadness when a mangaka wraps up a beloved long-running project like Hell’s Paradise. In 2021, fans bid farewell to this popular Shonen Jump series, and since then, have been eagerly waiting for the author, Yuji Kaku, to unveil his next masterpiece.

Last year, Kaku introduced Ayashimon, but it didn’t quite ignite the same passion as Hell’s Paradise and was unfortunately discontinued shortly after its release. However, the enchanting conclusion of Hell’s Paradise, which stands out as one of the most rewarding manga endings in recent memory, has left fans hopeful that Kaku might soon present another extraordinary work.

After almost five long years, it seems that the wait may finally be over for avid Shonen Jump readers.

Fans of Hell’s Paradise are accustomed to enduring lengthy gaps between seasons. The highly praised anime adaptation by MAPPA was among the top new series in 2023, but enthusiasts had to wait over a year for the Season 2 announcement. It wasn’t until the past few months that the first trailer for Season 2 was unveiled, set to debut in January 2026. However, those who have only watched the anime have little to compare with the readers of the manga, who have been waiting even longer for another exceptional series by Yuji Kaku. Fortunately, this prolonged wait for yet another masterpiece from him may soon be over.

Hell’s Paradise Author Teases a Mystery New Project

The news originates directly from Yuji Kaku themselves, who have been notably silent on X (previously known as Twitter) over the last few months. However, the silence has now been broken, as Kaku announced they are working on a fresh new project.

Over the past six months, artist Yuji Kaku has been entirely devoted to one particular project. Unfortunately, he hasn’t disclosed any specific details about this new project yet. However, once the project is officially unveiled, he plans to share more information about it. In his own words, “I’ll make an announcement as soon as I have more details to share.

Hell’s Paradise Season 2 Will Receive Some Big Updates Soon

For the past six months, I’ve been solely focusing on one piece of work (I will announce details when permitted). Now that I’ve finally settled, I plan to resume sharing information about Hell’s Paradise: Jigoku-touju no Kuroshitsuji game and anime Season 2 as well. It seems summer is almost over, but it’s still quite warm. Please take care of your health as well.
