Millie Bobby Brown and Jake Bongiovi, despite seeming to defy the stereotype that celebrities are delaying settling down, have already embarked on a journey towards starting their own family at a relatively young age. The 21-year-old Stranger Things actress and her 23-year-old model-actor spouse expressed their eagerness for this new phase of their lives, as they’ve already welcomed a baby into their world.

On Aug. 21, the couple revealed that they adopted a baby girl this summer.

Milky shared on Instagram that we can hardly contain our joy as we ready ourselves for the new phase of parenthood, filled with tranquility and seclusion. Now, we are a family of three, plus one more!

Millie expressed during the March episode of Smartless that although her primary goal is to firmly establish herself both as an actor and producer, starting a family is equally significant to her. Jake fully grasped its importance to her.

They were each one of four, she continued, “So, it is definitely in our future.”

Jake is one of Jon Bon Jovi and his wife Dorothea Hurley’s adult children. In May 2024, their close-knit family marked the wedding of their son Jesse Bongiovi to Jesse Light. The ceremony took place at the very same Las Vegas chapel where Jon Bon Jovi and Dorothea Hurley exchanged vows in April 1989.

Millie and Jake’s nuptials, meanwhile, were on the more international side.

In May 2024, the couple got married in a private ceremony, but their grand celebration took place in Tuscany in September. The bride changed her outfit four times during this event: she wore a custom Galia Lahav dress for the ceremony, switched to a vintage Valentino (1993) for pictures, moved on to an Oscar de la Renta gown for the cake-cutting ceremony, and finally donned a Vivienne Westwood minidress for dancing.

She shared that during a conversation on politics and child-rearing, they began discussing deeper topics that she had never discussed before, not just with any boy, but especially at her young age. On an episode of Call Her Daddy in March, she told Alex Cooper, “These were subjects I hadn’t considered, but as we talked about them, I found myself thinking, ‘Maybe I do want to be with you for a lifetime.’

Millie unveiled her stunning engagement ring for the first time in April 2023, quoting Taylor Swift’s “Lover” song: “For three beautiful summer seasons, sweetheart, I desire every single one of them with you.

While merging their separate spheres, they enthusiastically connected with each other’s friends and relatives, not worrying about moving too quickly or at an inappropriate time.

In a conversation with The Times, Millie shared, “My parents truly love him. Both of us having grown up with parents who’ve been together for a significant length of time means we’ve always had strong relationship role models.

Jon, who married his high school sweetheart and is Andy Cohen’s father-in-law, shared on SiriusXM’s Radio Andy that if one finds the right partner and both continue to grow together, that would be his advice. He emphasized that growing together is wise, and he appreciates that all of his children have found partners they believe will help them continue to grow.

As an ardent admirer, I couldn’t help but feel a surge of excitement at the 2024 MusiCares Person of the Year gala in early February. Hearing Jon confirm once more that the beloved couple was steadfastly on the right path left me beaming with pride and anticipation for their future endeavors!

He expressed to Keltie Knight of TopMob News that they are deeply in love, and we admire them greatly for it. He described their relationship as a thrilling journey.

And it’s not as if the couple got carried away by vibes. 

If we’re not giving it our all, then why bother? This is how Millie put it in an interview with Vanity Fair, which was released on February 12th. She feels that we should always give it our best, and that has consistently been the case for her.

Millie mentioned that getting married is a significant choice. She emphasized their desire to ensure they were making the correct decision. For her, it just seemed natural and fitting with him.

Around the same period, whispers about a romantic involvement began circulating when Jake shared a photo, accompanied by the caption, “Best friends forever ❤️”.

The couple officially confirmed their romance with this PDA pic.
