It seems Gerry Turner believes in love at second bloom.
Let me tell you, being a die-hard fan, I couldn’t help but be intrigued when I heard rumors about my beloved Golden Bachelor alum. Apparently, his ex-wife, Theresa Nist, claimed that he had been dating season one contestant, Christina Kempton, right after their divorce in April last year. Quite the juicy bit of gossip, if you ask me!
On the August 20th episode of the “Bachelor Happy Hour” podcast, Susan Noles, a contestant from our show’s first season, shared that Gerry dated Christina after you (Theresa). Theresa, aged 72, acknowledged that she had not previously known about this relationship. Interestingly, it was Theresa who suggested Gerry go out with Christina.
Additionally, just like Kathy Swarts, another contestant on the show “The Bachelorette,” also confirmed that she was aware of the rumored relationship.
“We’re all on the same page,” she noted in the episode. “They went out for, like, six months.”
TopMob News has reached out to Gerry and Christina for comment and has yet to hear back.
Despite Gerry, who is 73 years old, choosing Theresa as the recipient of his final rose at the season’s end, Christina had a significant bond with the renowned Bachelor star. However, she was eliminated from the show during its third episode, which aired in October 2023.
Similarly to Gerry and Theresa, their romantic relationship faced the same outcome. They decided to part ways just three months following their wedding in January 2024.
A little over a year since her divorce, Theresa openly expressed that she has no intention of accepting any more romantic gestures from anyone.
At the moment, I’m not deliberately searching,” she clarified during the podcast. “Opportunities come and go, but I find myself content and fulfilled in my current situation, more so than ever before.
Regarding Gerry and Christina, there’s been no official confirmation about their relationship status. Nevertheless, the retired restaurateur, currently fighting an incurable form of bone marrow cancer, appears to have found a new love interest. In April, Gerry openly admitted to TMZ that he is dating a woman named Lana, whom he met on social media earlier this year.
In addition, he playfully disclosed information about his fresh romance during the “Bachelor Happy Hour” podcast that very same month.
At that moment, Gerry shared that he was seeing someone new. He added that things seemed to be going smoothly, but he didn’t want to jinx it by saying too much. He also mentioned that he wanted to give his divorce some breathing room before revealing more details about his relationship.

Grant Ellis encountered 25 possible romantic interests during his initial night in the Bachelor mansion, but it was Juliana Pasquarosa who ultimately received his final rose. Unfortunately, the couple parted ways just under three months following the broadcast of their proposal.
Grant expressed on his Instagram Story on June 13 that the message he was sharing was one of the more challenging ones he’s had to write. He wanted to be truthful about the fact that he and Juliana have chosen to part ways in their relationship. Despite putting forth their best efforts and showering each other with love, they’ve realized through heartfelt discussions that ultimately, they aren’t compatible for a long-term commitment.
Status: In a Relationship
After participating in the first season of ‘The Golden Bachelor’ and leaving Gerry Turner’s season prematurely, Joan Vassos then took the lead on the premiere season of ‘The Golden Bachelorette’. It was during this time that she encountered and became engaged to contestant Chock Chapple.
In simpler terms, Joan expressed on The Golden Bachelorette’s November 2024 finale that despite whatever life has thrown their way, there remains hope, even at their age. On this special occasion in Bora Bora, she told Chock that she had been waiting for this moment to confess her love for him and proposed a lifetime of shared mornings and goodnights.

During the season finale of The Bachelorette, The Bachelor alum Jenn Tran appeared to have found her happily ever after with final pick Devin Strader. However, during an appearance on After the Final Rose in September 2024, Jenn confessed that Devin distanced himself immediately once the cameras were turned off.
During a September 3 episode, Jenn explained to host Jesse Palmer that the man she was involved with had previously declared his love for her in grand gestures, only to act indifferent the next day. Contrary to his earlier expressions of affection, he now denied having any feelings for her and it seemed as though all the love he’d promised her was gone.
The story took an interesting turn as Devin uploaded a 13-minute video on Instagram, explaining his perspective and expressing accountability. He also discussed the reasons behind ending the relationship during a 15-minute phone conversation.
Instead of saying Jenn claimed he ended their relationship during the phone call in August, it could be rephrased as: Jenn said he was the one who ended their relationship over the phone in August, but he asserted that she had pressed him about what was wrong and wanted to know why he couldn’t tell her in person.
He said, “I wasn’t quite sure about other options, but I felt it was best to inform you directly. It seemed as though she made the situation such that there was no choice left for me.
Following that, Jenn made her way towards Dancing with the Stars and found herself amidst her dancing partner, Sasha Farber. Together, they kept dancing even beyond their elimination in October 2024; however, they parted ways in 2025.
In November 2022, Greg Grippo (a former suitor of Katie Thurston on The Bachelorette the previous year) and Victoria Fuller appeared together on the season eight finale of Bachelor in Paradise. They announced that they were in a relationship at that time. However, by April 2024, they had ended their relationship.
Before Victoria Fuller and Greg Grippo made their relationship official during the final episode of Bachelor in Paradise’s 8th season, she had already called off her engagement with Johnny DePhillipo. (paraphrased to make it clear that the split happened before the public announcement of Fuller and Grippo’s romance)
Marital Status: Previously Divorced (Gerry Turner and Theresa Nist) remarried each other, exchanging vows during the final episode of the first season of ‘Golden Bachelor’ in November 2023, followed by a televised wedding ceremony in January 2024.
However, three months after their nuptials, the couple announced that they were breaking up.
During their interview on Good Morning America with Theresa in April 2024, Gerry explained, “Theresa and I have had many deep discussions and we’ve carefully examined our circumstances, including our living situation. We’ve collectively decided that it seems appropriate to end our marriage.
They reached a divorce settlement in June 2024, according to court records reviewed by TopMob News.
In April 2025, Gerry shared during the Bachelor Happy Hour podcast that he had begun a new relationship which was progressing positively.
Relationship Status: Enamored and Committed
Tennis professional Joey Graziadei, after seeking out 32 potential partners, found his ideal companion in project manager Kelsey Anderson. Overwhelmed with anticipation, Joey expressed his affection to his chosen one during the season finale in March 2024, dropping down on bended knee to profess his love. “There’s an indescribable allure about you,” he said, “a contagious energy that brings joy to my heart, a sensation I’ve never known before.”
Envisioning their shared future with Louisiana native Kelsey, he added, “For some time, I’ve envisioned a life filled with beauty. But it wasn’t until I met you that I truly understood just how breathtaking a life could be.
In the ninth season of “Bachelor in Paradise”, underwater welder John Henry Spurlock and nurse Kat Izzo, who were both suitors for other contestants, developed feelings for each other midway through the show. During his proposal, John presented an Ascher cut Neil Lane diamond ring and expressed his heartfelt feelings towards Kat, stating she was everything he had been looking for. However, shortly after the season finale, they announced that due to their career goals not being compatible, they had decided to part ways, expressing gratitude for the love and support they received from friends, family, and “Bachelor Nation”.
John Henry Spurlock, an underwater welder, and nurse Kat Izzo, who both vied for the affections of other contestants on “Bachelor in Paradise”, found themselves drawn to each other halfway through the season. During their proposal, John presented a Neil Lane diamond ring in an Ascher cut, professing his feelings for Kat, claiming she was the embodiment of everything he had been seeking. Yet, just after the final episode aired, they shared that their career aspirations were pulling them in opposite directions, and although saddened, they expressed gratitude towards the support they received from their loved ones and “Bachelor Nation”.
Current Situation: Separated
In spite of her initial apprehensions about the proposal during a Paradise event, Eliza Isichei, who was once Clayton Echard’s partner, graciously agreed to Aaron Bryant’s oceanfront marriage proposition. Moved by Aaron’s thoughtful gesture of seeking approval from her mother, she expressed, “I couldn’t predict what words would come out of my mouth.”
The conclusion of the episode hinted at a few hurdles Eliza and her partner faced upon their return from Mexico, and a week later they confirmed that they had called off their engagement. On Instagram, December 2023, he shared, “Navigating through complex feelings as I watch it all unfold. We’re parting ways amicably, maintaining a positive outlook and mutual respect for each other.
Status: Separated
Despite postpartum nurse Kylee Russell expressing her disappointment over boyfriend Aven Jones’ reluctance to propose – a gesture he had reportedly been ready to make while courting Bachelorette Rachel Recchia – she eventually agreed to his proposal on “Paradise” to escape and make their relationship work.
This decision meant that her chosen engagement dress remained untouched, with Kylee stating, “I just had to do what I felt was right.” She added, “Love involves taking risks.”
Just two days following the broadcast of their finale in December 2023, she revealed on Instagram Stories that their relationship had ended due to numerous acts of infidelity. Later, Aven expressed remorse to Kylee, admitting, “I have made grave errors in our relationship and caused pain for someone I held dear.
Exciting News for Charity Lawson and Dotun Olubeko
Charity Lawson shared her excitement with TopMob News about the successful turnout of this season. However, her August 2023 finale was far from adequately described by her statement. During a romantic proposal, integrative medicine specialist Dotun Olubeko declared their love to be “perfect,” asking Charity, a child and family therapist, to make their fairytale come true.
Although they’re yet to formally tie the knot-with plans for a 2025 or 2026 wedding-Charity has another exciting venture ahead: participating in Dancing With the Stars. On The Bachelorette: After the Final Rose, Dotun expressed his enthusiasm to Charity, reminding her of their discussions about this potential opportunity. He was thrilled to reveal that she’ll be competing on Dancing With the Stars! “Alright, baby,” Dotun exclaimed to Charity. “You like to dance and have fun, and we’ve talked about how fantastic this chance would be. I am so proud to tell you that you’re going to be on Dancing With the Stars! Let’s do this!
Status: Married (implies Zach Shallcross and Kaity Biggar got married)
Zach Shallcross found his happily ever after. Although there were some hiccups during the Fantasy Suite episodes, Zach proposed to travel nurse Kaity Biggar in March 2023. During the proposal, he expressed his deep love for her by saying, “I am completely in love with you. You are my universe. The love I have for you surpasses anything I could have ever imagined.”
In July 2023, the Texas-based couple took their relationship to a new level, as Kaity announced on Instagram that they were now living together, officially becoming roommates.
On May 23, 2025, they got married at a charming chapel, as Kaity put it. Despite originally planning a bigger event, she shared on the June 2025 episode of the Bachelor Happy Hour podcast that she felt they didn’t need all the extravagance. Instead, she wanted their wedding to focus on their love and connection, rather than getting lost in the small details.
Although one significant aspect left her captivated, it was the aunt who endorsed her for a chance at Zach’s affection who discovered the church in the Austin area where their wedding took place. As Kaity put it, “It was ideal.
Oh my goodness, it’s just heartbreaking to see Danielle Maltby and Michael Allio, two beloved figures from Bachelor Nation, part ways. Despite their promising relationship after season seven of BIP, even with Danielle moving from Nashville to Ohio to be with Michael and his adorable son James, it seems they couldn’t make things last.
Michael confirmed the split in a podcast appearance on Jason Tartick’s Trading Secrets earlier this year. He shared that both of them had invested so much into their relationship, which makes the end all the more painful. When relationships don’t work out, especially when love is present but compatibility seems to be lacking, it feels like mourning not only the person and the friendship, but also the future you once dreamed of together.
Brandon Jones expressed his deep affection for Serene Russell while proposing during season seven of ‘Paradise’. However, despite their heartfelt vows, they announced their separation five months later in May 2023. They requested understanding and asked for no negativity, acknowledging the strong feelings between them but admitting that their relationship was difficult to maintain under public scrutiny and causing them immense pain.
Status: Separation
Rachel’s relationship with general contractor Tino Franco hit a roadblock during their 2022 season when he was caught kissing another woman. In an interview on The Viall Files, he admitted, “I in no way condone my actions. It was wrong, unfair to Rachel, and I regret it deeply. I’m ashamed of what I did, and it still weighs heavily on me. I wish I could have handled the situation differently a million times over.
The situation: Separation
Indeed, it was quite an adventure. During the 2022 finale, Susie Evans initially turned down Bachelor Clayton Echard‘s advances, but later reconciled with him off-screen…only to part ways again six months afterwards.
However, Susie, a videographer residing in L.A., maintains that their separation was necessary. In a November 2022 blog post for “Susie Was Like,” she expressed that her vitality seemed to fade and she wasn’t flourishing as she should. She admitted they had many pleasant moments together, but deep down, she was grappling with issues and felt out of sync with the best version of herself.
Susie began dating Justin Glaze, a participant from Bachelor Nation, but later revealed in August 2024 that they had parted ways.
Breakup Status of Michelle and Nayte from ‘The Bachelorette’
The Minnesota elementary school teacher, Michelle, who was the Bachelorette, accepted a diamond ring from Texas-based sales executive Nayte Olukoya and a $200,000 check from producers to help with their future home. However, they didn’t have a strong bond and announced their separation six months after their season finale aired in December 2021.
Nayte admitted on ‘The Viall Files’ that there were many disagreements, arguments, and fights between them, and they didn’t quite see eye-to-eye. He also regretted not having the final conversation about their split in person, calling it an unfair move.
Michelle began dating Jack Leius in 2023, and they announced their engagement a year later. Their wedding took place in Minnesota in June 2025.
The dynamic duo from BIP season seven, Maurissa Gunn and Riley Christian, shared a dream of idyllic Sunday mornings with viewers. However, their journey together was brief, spanning only a handful of weekends. In a joint statement released in January 2022, their patient coordinator, Maurissa (who had been romantically linked to Peter Weber), and lawyer Riley (one of Tayshia Adams’ suitors), announced that they were parting ways. They never anticipated this outcome, but they have reached a point where they both need time for personal growth.
Status: Split
The first same-sex couple within the realm of Bachelor Nation confirmed their engagement during season six of ‘Bachelor in Paradise’, however, they announced their separation in October 2019, coinciding with Halloween.
In their Instagram post, they expressed that love and concern for each other has consistently been the focus of their relationship. Their main goal is always to act in their mutual best interest. With deep affection, they’ve made the difficult decision to step away from the relationship temporarily, as it currently appears to be in their best interest to grow separately for their long-term wellbeing.
Current Status: Engaged
However, it wasn’t paradise lost after all. Although Noah Erb and Abigail Heringer parted ways during the BIP’s seventh season, they found that they could see an eternal love reflected in each other’s eyes. After initially settling down in San Diego, this travel nurse (who vied for Tayshia’s affection) and financial manager (who received Matt James’ first impression rose) recently purchased a home in Tulsa, his hometown.
Abigail expressed her excitement about their new home on Instagram in July 2023, stating: “Getting ready to enter our Chip and Joanna Gaines era because your girl just bought her very first house!!!” She continued, “Excited to start our next chapter and for all the memories we’ll create here!!” In preparation for their move, Noah proposed at a San Diego beachfront home in August 2023, hinting that wedding plans are now underway.
In informal and easy-to-understand language: The couple Serena Pitt and Joe Amabile, known from Matt James’ season and Becca Kufrin’s time on the show respectively, decided to go ahead and tie the knot early. This impromptu ceremony took place at City Hall near their New York City residence, about a year after they left Paradise as an engaged pair. Serena, who now co-hosts the Bachelor Happy Hour podcast with her husband, posted a video in October 2022 along with the caption “JUST MARRIED !!”. They plan to have another wedding ceremony in September, but who wouldn’t want a double wedding, right?
Kenny Braasch, a boy band manager, declared his deep affection for Mari Pepin as he presented her with a Neil Lane diamond ring on the finale of Paradise in 2021. “Mari, I am so utterly in love with you,” he exclaimed. “I can’t imagine my life without you.” Following this, the Maryland beauty queen relocated to Kenny’s hometown, Chicago, and they began planning their future together. Before their wedding, which took place as a 65-guest oceanfront ceremony in Puerto Rico in November 2023, they made their bond permanent by getting matching tattoos during a vacation in the Bahamas in May 2023.
Status: Married
Becca, a former Bachelorette, and Thomas Jacobs, who was a contestant on Katie Thurston’s season, reunited during the seventh season of “Bachelor in Paradise” in 2021. They split up during the show but rekindled their relationship once filming ended. In May 2022, they revealed that they were engaged, with Becca proposing. She expressed hope that others might feel empowered to bend the rules, as she did. Later in October, Thomas reciprocated the engagement. Their son Benson was born in September 2023. On Instagram, Becca shared, “No words can express the love and awe we have for this tiny new member of our family.” Just a few weeks after welcoming Benson, they tied the knot in an impromptu October ceremony.
Status: Split
In the season finale of ‘The Bachelorette’ in 2021, Katie got engaged to Blake Moynes. Their love blossomed during their special night out together, which included a paintball adventure, relaxing in a cowboy bathtub, and a heart-to-heart talk under the night sky.
Kneeling down, Blake expressed to Katie, “You’re worthy of the whole universe, and I’m thrilled about standing by your side and offering my support each day from now on.
After three months since the airing of their proposal, the couple revealed they were going separate ways. In identical statements, they expressed gratitude for the shared moments and the experiences of the past year, but acknowledged that they are not suitable as lifelong partners. They decided it was the kindest choice for both of them to continue individually.
Now, she is wedded to comedian Jeff Arcuri.
Status: Separated
Since the 2021 season, Matt and graphic designer Rachael Kirkconnell have faced numerous breakup rumors following their split and subsequent reconciliation. In a recent interview with TopMob News at a Baskin-Robbins event in July 2022, Matt expressed his thoughts on the situation, stating that people tend to panic when someone takes a break from social media. He also mentioned that they both prefer to take their relationship at their own pace and believe their approach is working for them. However, in January 2025, Matt announced on Instagram that he and Rachael had decided to separate. In his post, he asked for strength for both of them and expressed faith that their peace would transcend worldly understanding.
Status: Split
Following Clare Crawley’s 2020 season of “The Bachelorette”, Tayshia got involved and developed feelings for Zac Clark. Despite exiting the show as an engaged couple, Tayshia disclosed in subsequent interviews that their relationship experienced some highs and lows.
Being in a new relationship and then disappearing for a few weeks can be challenging, as it may create uncertainty, she explained on ‘The Ben and Ashley I. Almost Famous’ podcast in August 2021. She was being sincere and open about her feelings.
Following that event, it seemed crucial for us to recall what bonded us together. Such a reflection is entirely typical in such situations. However, as reported by TopMob News in November 2021, we have since parted ways.
Status: Split
During season 16 of “The Bachelorette,” I, a fervent admirer, found myself utterly smitten by Dale Moss. By the fourth episode, my heart was racing as Clare and I celebrated our engagement. But the unexpected twists continued! Weeks later, when Tayshia received her own engagement, Dale confessed on social media that his love story with a hair dresser had sadly come to an end.
A month later, there were whispers of them reconciling after they were seen together. Fast forward to July 2021; following multiple meetings, Clare and Dale had reconciled, complete with a ring. However, by September of the same year, they split up again. Now, Clare is married to Ryan Dawkins, and she’s a mother to her daughter Rowen.
Status: Split
Following his short-lived engagement to Hannah Ann Sluss and subsequent breakup with Madison Prewett, fans were optimistic that Peter would find lasting love for the third time. Unfortunately, his romance with Kelley Flanagan, who gained fame as a standout on The Bachelor season 24, did not work out in the end. On New Year’s Eve 2020, the pilot announced that their nine-month relationship had come to an end.
In a post on Instagram, Pete shared that although their relationship was marked by many cherished moments, unfortunately, it did not last. He expressed that Kelley will always hold a unique place in his heart.
In the year 2022, they made another attempt to soar aloft, but it was disclosed back in May that their love story had come to an end.
Status: Split
In light of the emotional 2020 conclusion, Madi and I took to Instagram to share our decision to move on separately in our romantic journey. “Myself and Madi have mutually agreed that we won’t be continuing our relationship,” I expressed. “I must admit, this wasn’t an easy choice for either of us, but after some heartfelt conversations, we both felt this was the most suitable path for us. The affection and regard I hold for Madi will persist.
In her statement, Madi expressed, “I’ll forever cherish and honor him. I firmly believe that our lives were destined to intertwine, and as a result, we have both grown for the better.
Status: Split
During season 24 of The Bachelor, Peter and Hannah Ann became engaged, but unfortunately, by the second part of the finale, it emerged that they were facing challenges just a month into their private commitment. More precisely, Hannah Ann found herself unexpectedly learning about Peter’s continuing affection for Madison.
In my heartfelt plea, I merely sought the unwavering devotion that I offer without reservation. Yet, you took away my initial promise – a symbol of our trust and commitment. This action left me bereft, for it was based on the belief that I could rely on you, a belief you had encouraged. ‘Show patience with me,’ you asked, ‘Place faith in me.’
