A recent whisper about the next Avengers film, titled “Doomsday,” hints at the return of a significant landmark seen in 2019’s Avengers: Endgame.
What is the latest Avengers: Doomsday rumor?
Based on reports from MCU insider UnBoxPHD (who later deleted their post), it appears that Captain America’s perspective will be featured once again in an upcoming film, as hinted by a photo of Steve Rogers and Peggy Carter’s home being replicated on the Doomsday set at Windsor Great Park. This information was shared through The Direct.
The post mentioned that the Windsor location was all set for a Marvel production, with a stipulation against taking photographs. They had constructed Steve and Peggy Carter’s house, ready to start filming this Friday and the following Friday. The description added that while it looked exactly like the depicted structure, only half of it was being filmed from the side.
In simpler terms, it’s not quite certain what having a house in Doomsday implies. There have been whispers for a while now that Chris Evans might reappear as Captain America in the upcoming movie, but the specifics of his comeback remain a mystery.
The film “Avengers: Doomsday” will debut in U.S. cinemas on December 18, 2026, as part of Phase 6 within the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). Following this, “Avengers: Secret Wars” is slated for release on December 17, 2027. Before these two movies, you can catch “Spider-Man: Brand New Day” in theaters on July 31, 2026.
