North West is taking style tips from her aunt Kylie Jenner.
The 12-year-old showcased a fresh style in her latest TikTok video, sporting blue hair reminiscent of her aunt’s “King Kylie” era. Accompanied by mom Kim Kardashian and two friends, she lip-synched to “If Looks Could Kill” by Destroy Loney.
During this time, the Kardashians’ star, who has children Saint West (age 9), Chicago West (age 7), and Psalm West (age 5) with her ex-husband Kanye West, wore a black slip dress featuring delicate lace detailing. Underneath, a lace bra could be seen.
Later on, the pair of mother and daughter were spotted wearing matching outfits while dining at Pierluigi Restaurant in Rome.
Recently, the journey of Kim and North took place, happening only a month subsequent to the popular reality star clarifying longstanding speculations about leaving her eldest child behind in a Paris hotel as portrayed in a widely shared 2014 video, prior to returning to retrieve her at that time toddler.
On July 11, Kim shared on her Instagram Stories that she wanted to display her look first since it didn’t coordinate with hers, who was dressed in a pink distressed hoodie, leggings, and a gray coat at the time.
She added, “I didn’t forget her!!!!”
Instead, the 44-year-old attempted to refute rumors suggesting she left North immediately following the event’s occurrence.
In her post on X in October 2024, she stated, “I went to check the car to ensure the seat was secure, as we had a problem with it the day before.” She then humorously questioned, “Would a one-year-old be left alone in the lobby? Oh, I see she was there to pay the bill!
Ever since, Kim has playfully remarked that it’s hard to ignore the vocal nature of North, given her increased outspokenness.
In simpler terms, Kim shared with Vogue that her eldest daughter is quite critical when it comes to fashion at events like the 2025 Met Gala. However, she added that her criticism is actually quite constructive.
As she explores her unique fashion sense, she insists on managing what others observe about her, given her life under public scrutiny.
North shared with her mother during an interview for Interview magazine (Fall 2024 issue cover), “I enjoy capturing self-portraits, but I dislike it when paparazzi do the same. When I first wake up and there’s a swarm of photographers around, I feel like threatening them with a lawsuit. However, if I’m feeling good, well-dressed, and rested, I might allow for a photo op.
