Chris Brown Accused of Being ‘Evasive’ in $90 Million Battle After Arrest

It is reported exclusively by Us Weekly that Chris Brown was accused of being uncooperative during a deposition in a $90 million lawsuit related to an alleged violent dog attack at his residence, due to his evasive responses under oath.

Based on court records we’ve acquired, the singer appeared for a deposition on April 30, following a judge’s instruction in the lawsuit filed against him by his ex-housekeeper, Maria Avila.

In a recent statement, Avila asserted that Brown, aged 36, allegedly claimed ignorance when questioned about the security systems in his house during the attack on Avila on December 12, 2020. When asked, the singer reportedly referred Avila to his security personnel for further details.

According to Availa, it was stated that Brown was asked to identify the owner of the dog at hand. In response, Brown mentioned that his business manager would possess the necessary details.

In the documentation, the housekeeper claimed that Brown was being deliberately unclear with his responses and was trying to annoy or hinder her. Availa stated that the security guard had no knowledge regarding the security camera recordings when asked about it. However, Brown has refuted all accusations made against him.

Avila requested the court’s intervention to address the problems or to contemplate imposing penalties on Brown for his behavior.

In response, Brown’s legal team refuted allegations suggesting the singer was avoiding questions. Instead, they stated that Brown had testified for a total of five and a half hours.

His demeanor was cooperative, considerate, tolerant, and truthful. During his court testimony, it was mentioned that he has a support team managing all aspects of his life; this has been the case since his teenage years. It’s not hard to imagine that he may not be fully familiar with the details of the security system in his home, as his lawyers pointed out.

Concerning the security recordings, Brown asserted that either no footage exists or it wasn’t recorded because the cameras were allegedly damaged on the day of the incident. This damage supposedly happened due to a burglary or break-in that took place on the premises a few weeks earlier.

In her court case, Availa asserted that as she was putting out the trash, she was viciously attacked by a big white Orvchaka shepherd dog named Hades. At the time of the alleged incident, Brown was within their home.

In a court filing, the housekeeper asserted that Brown appeared more concerned with removing the pet from the premises before officials arrived, rather than ensuring her safety. Avila stated that the dog had inflicted severe injuries upon her, such as disfiguration. To support her claim, she submitted graphic photographs of her alleged wounds. In her lawsuit, she sought $90 million in compensation for these damages.

Brown dismissed the claims in the complaint, implying that it was likely Availa who accidentally inflicted the injuries upon herself through her own actions.

Chris’ attorney claimed in court that the issues Avila was experiencing were directly due to his actions, as he intentionally and knowingly harassed, mistreated, or tormented the dog, which resulted in the aggressive behavior.

As a lifestyle expert, I’d rephrase it like this: In my own words, Avila apparently painted a different picture about me when questioned by authorities. My legal representative referred to an investigation report from the City of Los Angeles Department of Animal Services, which suggested that Avila was quoted as saying I called the paramedics and secured Hades following the alleged incident.

In his statement, Avila’s legal representative pointed out that initially, Avila stated that Brown rushed over to him and possibly even moved the dog away from the situation, potentially placing himself in harm’s way.

The case is headed to trial.

Back in the day, I was absolutely thrilled to share that we’d reported about Brown, who was recently out from behind bars in London following his whopping $6.7 million bond. You see, he found himself in hot water after spending some time in jail due to a warrant linked to an alleged assault in 2023.
