On a typical Thursday night, it’s the perfect time for some intense gaming sessions, especially with Call of Duty. However, if you were hoping to earn a few nukes to boost your combat record, I’m afraid I have bad news. At this moment, all Call of Duty games across every platform are dealing with server issues.
📣 We’re currently looking into a problem causing some players trouble in connecting to Call of Duty services (specifically Black Ops 6 and Warzone) on August 29, 2025.
In simpler terms, if you were playing a game when the power went out, you were suddenly taken back to the game’s main menu or experienced a complete system failure that returned you to the home screen. Upon trying to reconnect to the servers, the main screen displayed an error message stating “Inventory loading failed.
Following the initial crash, the Call of Duty Updates social media account acknowledged on their platform that they were cognizant of the problem and were working to address it.
The recent incident is impacting all Call of Duty games, such as the newly reintroduced Call of Duty: WWII on PC Game Pass, which was temporarily removed due to issues related to hacking and exploits.
