Cardi B is laying her latest court saga to rest.

The “WAP” rapper was found not responsible for any legal repercussions in a lawsuit claiming she attacked a past security officer outside a Beverly Hills office complex in 2018, as reported by NBC News.

Immediately following the court’s decision on September 2nd in Los Angeles, the 32-year-old, who maintains her innocence against the accusations, reaffirmed her lack of guilt when addressing reporters outside the courthouse.

She asserted emphatically, according to NBC News, “I’m absolutely serious about this. No matter where I am, be it on my deathbed, I solemnly swear by God, I will still maintain that I didn’t lay a hand on that woman.

Following her court success, Cardi B also asked her followers to refrain from cyberbullying Emani Ellis on social media platforms.

Cardi requested that what’s being discussed here is moved past, for both of them. She asked people to stop bringing it up, stop commenting on her appearance, and refrain from using disrespectful language.

During the court proceedings, it was alleged by Ellis that the Grammy-winning artist (whose birth name is Belcalis Marlenis Almánzar), had spat on her, scratched her face, and used racial slurs during their altercation, as reported in documents acquired by NBC News.

During her court testimony in August, Cardi B admitted that a conversation occurred, but she insisted she didn’t engage in any physical altercation with Ellis. Regarding the reason behind their meeting, she testified that she was four months pregnant with her child, Kulture, at that time. She claimed that Ellis seemed to be filming her on her phone.

During cross-examination, as reported by the source, Cardi – mother of Wave, aged 3, and Blossom, aged 11 months, with her ex Offset – recalled saying, “Why are you in my face? Why are you recording me? Aren’t you supposed to be security? Get out of my face, you bothering me!” This phrase has been rephrased to make it more appropriate and easy to understand.

Despite the gravity of the accusations facing the rapper, her testimony, characterized by expressive facial expressions, vivid language, and numerous questions about her wigs, sparked numerous viral memes online.
