SNK is doing a fantastic job right now, especially with how they’re continuing to update and improve Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves after its release.
With the $4.2 million SNK World Championship 2026 on the horizon, featuring prizes for several games, SNK has announced an update for their four-year-old fighting game, King of Fighters 15, scheduled for release in July 2026.
This update was a surprise, as many people thought the publisher had stopped working on the game. The new trailer reveals the patch will balance all the characters.
The video doesn’t show any new content, so you should only expect improvements to game balance – which is understandable, given how old the game is.
When we first reviewed KoF15, we noted that fighting game fans would likely enjoy it, and it’s improved even further since then.
I’m really hoping these changes to the game’s balance, plus all the excitement building around the SNK World Championship in 2026, will give it a fresh boost and bring even more players back. It feels like a great opportunity for the game to really thrive again!
