Yunyun Syndrome!? Rhythm Psychosis delayed to winter

Hey there fellow gamers, it’s me! I was super excited about the upcoming rhythm adventure game “Yunyun Syndrome!? Rhythm Psychosis,” developed by WSS Playground and published by Alliance Arts. The release date was set for October 30th, but unfortunately, it seems like we’ll have to wait a bit longer as they’ve decided to move the launch to “this winter.” But hey, it’s just around the corner, so we won’t have to wait too much longer! You can grab your copy when it drops on Steam for PC. Let’s keep our rhythm game spirits high and wait for more beats!

The companies also announced the following four news items:

Full Voice-Over Confirmed – All characters in the game will be fully voiced, brought to life by the two divas of denpa music! Ｑtie is voiced by Nanahira, and Yunyun is voiced by Haruko Momoi.

Original Denpa Theme Song Performed by KOTOKO – The opening animation featuring the new theme song “Denpa-tic Imaginary Girl “”Q””,” sung by KOTOKO, will premiere on September 5 at 5:00 a.m. PT / 8:00 a.m. ET.

In this game, you’ll step into the shoes of a young girl who’s deeply immersed in quirky Japanese pop music, often referred to as ‘denpa’. As you play, you might find yourself acting like Yunyun, a character known for her eccentricity. You’ll engage in anonymous social media activities that could potentially cause chaos worldwide, all while under the influence of your ‘Yunyun-like’ state of mind.

Experience the thrill similar to Doki Doki with over 30 catchy denpa songs and various possible outcomes.

Q. Why did she become a hikikomori?
Q. How does anonymous online posting lead to world destruction?
Q. Does a happy ending exist for a degenerate otaku?

The solutions to these questions are found at the intersection of insanity and a condition known as “depapychosis.” So, grab your headphones and prepare yourself for a case of Yunyun Syndrome, or Rhythm Psychosis!

Anonymously Post Online and Infect the Whole World with Yunyun-Brain! – Get high on denpa songs and sink in the depths of social media!! Browse social media at the start of the song to check up on your Yunyun cult and haters. And then prepare for the climax where you can start dropping posts left and right. Successfully posting will cause other social media users to become psychotically Yunyun-ified. Social media is all about sharing – spread your heartful psychosis to everyone else!

Characters

Qtie – The main character. A hikikomori. She suffered too much irl that she’s become a little (very) fuzzy in the head. Her obsessive love for the fictional character “Yunyun” is for sure an illness. Her overly “high” state from overdosing denpa songs causes her to propagate Yunyun love. Will there really be a happy end for such a degenerate otaku?
Yunyun – A fictional character that loves Qtie. A very much angelic devil. She will speak to Qtie through the monitor screen. Whilst the truth is unknown, most likely, she is just a figment of Qtie’s imagination. It’s joever for her.
