Could you describe Super-Skrull’s perspective regarding recent happenings, given that the Kree/Skrull Alliance seems to have disbanded and he is the main character in the Imperial Guardians story? Is there any information available about how these events are affecting him?
Dan Abnett: The Imperial Guardians comic series provides captivating and startling insights into the backstory of our current situation, unfolding alongside the main Imperial narrative until it collides head-on at an incredible speed. Consequently, Super-Skrull plays a significant role in this progression, shedding light on his motivations as the Imperial saga approaches its climax and conclusion.
Is there any insight you can provide about the intriguing figures depicted on the cover of “Imperial Guardians”? Who might these characters be for the audience, and what factors led them to unite as a group in this story?
In much the same vein, this predicament presents a chance to follow along as other characters respond and adapt to the crisis. Here we find Gamora, Captain Marvel, and Darkhawk (a character that Darkhawk enthusiasts, as well as those who are unaware they’re fans, should definitely not skip) closing in on the root causes of the disaster. Is there a planned Imperial Guardians title for winter 2026? How does your book fit into these plans, and does this particular team mark a fresh era for the Guardians of the Galaxy?
