The first installment of the “Demon Slayer: Infinity Castle” trilogy is scheduled for release in Japan on July 18th, 2025. Release dates outside of Japan will differ depending on the region, with the U.S. showing it on September 12, 2025. The animation studio Ufotable has already unveiled both subtitled and dubbed trailers for this film. The storyline will continue from where the Hashira Training Arc ended, depicting the climactic battle between the Demon Slayers and the demons. Unbeknownst to Muzan, he had arrived at the Ubuyashiki manor when the head of the Demon Slayer Corps was hatching a shocking plan. In a surprise attack, Kagaya destroyed his manor, along with his wife and two of his five children. Muzan was left stunned by the explosion as the Demon Slayers launched their ambush on him.

However, Akaza unexpectedly appeared, leading to Rengoku’s tragic demise, leaving Tanjiro deeply saddened. In pursuit of the demon, Tanjiro declared his victory as it fled at dawn after causing fatal wounds to Rengoku. Although Akaza felt humiliated, he acknowledged some truth in Tanjiro’s claim. This confrontation marks their initial meeting since then, and based on the trailer hints, this battle against Akaza will be Tanjiro’s most significant challenge during the final story arc.
