Following further refinements, Genki’s game titled “Tokyo Xtreme Racer” will formally exit Steam Early Access on September 25th, making its debut as a PC release priced at $49.99. In their latest Producer Letter, the team has detailed the features players can anticipate with Version 1.0.
The selection encompasses fresh car models like the Skyline 2000GT-R (KPGC10), Nissan GT-R Premium Edition T-Spec (R35), Honda Integra Type R (DC2), Nissan Fairlady Z Version ST (RZ34), and others. Additionally, a new chapter in the game’s storyline is being introduced, along with new opponents to contend against. Also expect modifications in game balance and adjustments.
This version retains the original meaning but aims to make it more conversational and easier for readers to understand.
Apologies for any inconvenience, but the Replay Feature has been postponed temporarily as we’re focusing on adding more engaging story content first. We don’t have an exact release date yet, but rest assured our team is working diligently to make sure it’s well-finished and included in upcoming updates. Regrettably, Steam Record Ranking won’t be implemented at this time due to insufficient measures to prevent cheating.
It seems unfair if we add this new feature without ensuring equal opportunities for everyone, as it could potentially lead to a less enjoyable gaming experience.
Keep an eye out as we reveal further information about the launch edition within the next few weeks. Meanwhile, don’t forget to check out our first impressions review of Tokyo Xtreme Racer for some early insights!
