Tonight on Monday, June 30th, an additional channel will air on EastEnders‘ usual spot as BBC One prepares for a sports-filled summer with the commencement of their Wimbledon broadcasts.
Previously, it was made clear that the soap is shifting to BBC Two on both Monday and Tuesday of this current week. Therefore, viewers won’t have to worry about missing any Walford drama.
Two consecutive episodes will be broadcast on both Monday and Tuesday evenings, between 7 pm and 8 pm. This means that fans can enjoy the weekly dose of drama taking place in Albert Square.
The broadcast of tonight’s episodes starts at 7 PM on BBC Two, as the BBC offers comprehensive Wimbledon coverage. Clare Balding will present the opening day of the Grand Slam from the All England Club.
Today’s matches include the men’s and ladies’ first round singles matches.

This week on EastEnders, there’s a lot of tension as Elaine (Harriet Thorpe) and Linda Carter (Kellie Bright) clash over a disagreement. The conflict arises when Linda announces her intention to sell her share of The Queen Vic.
In different locations, Vicki Fowler (Alice Haig) threatens Bernie Taylor (Clair Norris) following the discovery of her theft from the Panesars’ bank accounts, Kat Slater (Jessie Wallace) presses for explanations from secretive Stacey Slater (Lacey Turner), and Cindy Beale (Michelle Collins) cautions Lauren Branning (Jacqueline Jossa).
The BBC hasn’t revealed the schedule for EastEnders during the second week of Wimbledon as of now, so fans should stay patient.
