In the Emmerdale episode on September 12, 2025, Kammy Hadiq, played by Shebz Miah, stepped in to help Vinny Dingle (Bradley Johnson), leading to a suspenseful and worrying cliffhanger.
Following an altercation in which Vinny was assaulted and compelled to pay £10K to a person named Mike to preserve his privacy regarding his uncertainty about his sexuality, he alleviated Kammy’s concerns for him by falsely claiming that Kammy himself had instigated the attack.
This week, Kammy tried to build bridges, despite a desperate Vinny having framed him.
Eventually, Vinny confided the whole story to Kammy, who urged him to report ‘Mike’ to the police.
Instead, Vinny declined, causing Kammy to become furious over his friend’s predicament. Feeling compelled to act, Kammy proceeded on his own.
Joining the identical LGBTQ+ platform where Vinny encountered Mike, Kammy introduced himself as ‘Zain’ and posted a note expressing his attraction towards males.
Mike answered back, and together they arranged a meeting. However, Kammy persisted with his fabricated tale, asserting that he was already engaged to a woman.
However, as Kammy went to input his number into the man’s phone for deletion of incriminating recordings of Vinny, intending to eliminate any potential danger, the situation suddenly became ominous.
Rather than assisting Vinny in resolving his issues, Kammy unintentionally worsened the predicament significantly.
