Kaitlyn Bristowe didn’t have the rosiest time on the dance floor.
Five years following her victory in season 29 of “Dancing With the Stars,” where she was previously a contestant on “The Bachelorette,” she disclosed the lasting impact of her transformed physical appearance.
Kaitlyn disclosed on the September 10th episode of Tori Spelling’s podcast, “misSPELLING,” that she’s been dealing with the aftermath of cracked ribs for years. Additionally, she mentioned that pulling a muscle beneath her ribs and experiencing tendonitis can become aggravated when she wears high heels now.
Despite the pain, however, she emphasized, “I’ll do it again.”
Reflecting on her past experiences, a woman of 40 years, who had danced with professional partner Artem Chigvintsev, offered some guidance to those contemplating taking their steps onto the ballroom dance floor.
She emphasized, “I’d simply advise against hurting yourself,” adding that her primary concern was to prevent constant injuries. When asked if the occasional injuries were worth it, she replied affirmatively.
Despite the challenge, it turned out that she had injured her ankle prior to the start of the new season. Fortunately, she could rely on a fellow cast member from The Bachelorette for support. Notably, Hannah Brown – who had won the previous season alongside partner Alan Bersten – proved to be a significant aid during her recovery period between episodes.
Reflecting on our recent conversation, I shared with Tori, who made a stunning debut last season: “It occurred to me, ‘Why weren’t you ready with guidance?'” She responded, “I believe in fostering independence; if one is prepared, they might not take the initiative themselves.
Hannah also gave her a foot massage bath as a present, which was useful for relaxing after practice and reducing some muscle tension.
During the series, I found myself utterly captivated by Kaitlyn’s performances. Yet, I refused to let the ache hinder my dreams of securing that coveted trophy.
She confided in TopMob News following a September 2020 event where she and Artem scored the highest, “It was tough, but…I’m ecstatic we could dance it! That performance held such significance for me, so I’m absolutely thrilled we got to showcase it. At this moment, I can’t help but feel elated.

The experience was everything Kaitlyn hoped for, especially with her background in dance.
She gleefully confessed that the idea of spending extended hours in a dance studio fills her heart with joy. Her affection for dance has burned brightly since she was only three years old, and it’s been a career goal ever since. She feels as though she abandoned her dream at 25, but now sees this as an opportunity to pursue something she adores and hopefully find success in.

In February 2017, Jamie Lynn Spears’ 8-year-old daughter, Maddie Aldridge, was operating an all-terrain vehicle (ATV) close to their residence in Louisiana. Unfortunately, she overturned the ATV into a pond, causing her to be submerged beneath the water for some time.
As a lifestyle expert, I might rephrase that sentence like this: During an emotional moment on the Maria Menounos Better Together podcast in 2020, Jamie Lynn shared her heart-wrenching experience. She reminisced about a harrowing incident involving their child and water, stating, “When we managed to pull her from the water and I laid eyes on her, it seemed as though she had slipped away from us. In that moment, we feared that our precious daughter was lost.
Two days following the incident, Maddie regained consciousness and started conversing. After a couple of weeks, she resumed her regular daily activities as usual.
Jamie Lynn expressed gratitude, saying, “God granted me a wonderful gift by returning my precious daughter to me. Initially, I had lost her, but now I’ve been blessed with having her back again.

2025 action comedy titled “Bride Hard,” featuring Rebel Wilson and Anna Camp, experienced an unexpected turn during the final day of filming for Rebel’s character, who played a secret agent. In a fight scene, a gun accidentally struck her face, causing her nose to split open. She described this incident in a June 2025 interview with Access Hollywood, stating that it was an unfortunate accident and her last night on set. “I thought, ‘What more bad luck can I possibly have?’
In a sea of her own blood, she confessed about the 2023 incident, “I was in a state of alarm.” She continued, “Paramedics arrived and had to contact a plastic surgeon due to the severity of the injuries. If not, I would have been left with permanent disfigurement. Fortunately, we secured the services of a plastic surgeon who performed the necessary stitches. Now, you can’t tell there was any injury at all.

Jimmy Fallon, the host of The Tonight Show, nearly suffered an injury to his finger when he tripped and fell at home. In a bid to break his fall, he grabbed onto the counter, but unfortunately, his ring became caught during the process, causing his finger to be violently pulled out.
He was diagnosed with a condition called “ring avulsion” which required his immediate hospitalization for 10 days. During this time, the medical team worked diligently to avoid the necessity of amputation.

In June 2025, seasoned adventurer Zane Wach, who participates in long-distance running, swimming, and triathlon competitions, nearly succumbed to altitude sickness during a hike with his father, Ryan Wach, on California’s Mount Whitney.
Ryan clarified to SFGATE that the 14-year-old began perceiving strange visuals, such as snowmen and Kermit the Frog, which he recognized were not real.
Ryan repeatedly prevented his teenage son from stepping off the cliff on numerous occasions during their descent along the trail. The father stated, “He was in an unusual mental condition, and I’m still unsure about what led to it. To this day, we’re still uncertain.” The father speculates that the cause may have been a mix of fatigue, lack of sleep, potential dehydration, and lingering effects from altitude sickness. Essentially, his son began to question reality.
On the third try, Ryan found himself too distant to save Zane as he watched his son tumble down a 120-foot cliff. Following a six-hour wait for an Inyo County Search & Rescue helicopter to arrive and fly Zane to Southern Inyo Hospital in Lone Pine, he was stabilized before being transferred to a pediatric trauma center in Las Vegas. Placed under a medically induced coma, Zane eventually regained the ability to breathe on his own.
Ryan stated that their situation is currently shaping up to be a tale of resilience, given their teenager’s multiple injuries including head trauma, a broken finger, ankle, and fractured pelvis. However, he emphasized that they are still very much in the midst of dealing with this challenging situation.
On January 1st, 2023, Jeremy Renner, who played a role in the Avengers series, found himself using a snowplow to help pull a truck that was stuck in the snow at his Lake Tahoe residence. However, following his exit from the machine, an unfortunate incident occurred as he was accidentally pulled underneath while trying to prevent the plow from hitting his nephew. As a result, he sustained 38 broken bones.
On New Year’s Day, while lying on the ice, my heart rate slowed and I grew weary. Unbeknownst to my daughter, sisters, friends, father, and mother, it was then that I passed away. Thirty minutes later, after manually breathing for what felt like doing ten or twenty push-ups per minute continuously, I died.
In the midst of battling broken bones, severe blood loss, and the imminent danger of hypothermia, he penned down, “I believe I have passed away-in fact, I’m quite certain of it.” Upon their arrival, the EMTs observed that his heart rate had dropped critically low to 18 beats per minute, at which point, one can almost consider you deceased.

As a lifestyle advisor, I found myself grappling with an unthinkable situation in May 2025, much like Emilie and Brady Kiser did. Our young son, Trigg, accidentally slipped into our swimming pool at our Arizona home. This heart-wrenching experience serves as a stark reminder of the importance of water safety, particularly for families with young children.
According to the Chandler Police Department, they were called to a residence on May 12 due to a drowning incident involving a child who was found unresponsive in a backyard pool. Officers and firefighters performed CPR at the scene before transporting the toddler to Chandler Regional Hospital. Tragically, the young child passed away six days later.
Later on, Emilie decided to sue Maricopa County public authorities, aiming to stop the disclosure of information related to her husband’s death by the court. The lawsuit declared that Emilie is striving hard to support her surviving son, two-month-old Theodore. However, each day presents a struggle for her.

A trip to Thailand intended as a family vacation for Dr. Cara Hodgson transformed into the most harrowing 10 days of her life when she was sadly electrocuted by power lines in December 2023. After losing consciousness and being urgently taken to the emergency room, the influencer endured the subsequent week and a half being shuffled between hospitals, battling to recover her strength and clinging to life itself. In a heartfelt Instagram post on New Year’s Day, she expressed her gratitude for still being alive, stating “I am incredibly fortunate to be here today.
Through this ordeal, the orthodontist discovered a new cause for joy amidst the discomfort. Sharing her insights, Cara reflected, “Life’s simple pleasures – breathing, eating, speaking, moving – are blessings we often overlook when engrossed in minor details. It’s a privilege to be alive and experience these daily miracles, truly something worthy of celebration.

A sad incident took place in June 2025 when Juliana Marins, a tourist from Brazil, was trekking Mount Rinjani, an active volcano in Indonesia. Unfortunately, she fell from a cliff (not into the volcano’s crater). Subsequently, a search and rescue team of 48 members faced difficulties due to poor weather, challenging terrain, and visibility issues in the area, and it took them four days to find Juliana’s body. The Brazilian government announced this news in a statement.
Today’s update from Juliana Marins’ family’s Instagram account shares that rescuers finally arrived at the location where she was. Regrettably, it was confirmed that Juliana did not make it through this ordeal. We are deeply appreciative of all the prayers, heartfelt messages, and encouragement sent our way during these difficult times.

At a 2015 Easter brunch in Japanese restaurant Benihana, Tori Spelling – once a star on ‘Beverly Hills, 90210’ – accidentally tripped and burned her right arm on one of the Hibachi grills. Following this incident, she required skin grafts for treatment and eventually filed a lawsuit against the restaurant.
In a 2024 episode of her podcast with Jennie Garth, entitled “9021OMG”, she explained that they had to perform a skin graft on her, taking it from her leg. This means she’s essentially wearing a part of her thigh on her arm because the burn was so severe. So, humorously, she can say, “I’m wearing my thigh on my arm,” and she’s not joking.

During the Rock&Cars festival held in France in June 2024, comedian Tony Knight tragically lost his life when two heavy tree branches fell on him. According to Joanne Allen, Tony’s sister-in-law and Hayley Wright’s sibling, Tony was just 54 years old and enjoying the best moments of his life at the time. “He was in peak physical condition, full of vitality, and had a promising future ahead,” she wrote on GoFundMe. “Tony was an engaging personality, always making people laugh, and deeply passionate about his work.
In his own Instagram post, Haley expressed that he was not just exceptionally talented but also versatile. She wrote that there seemed to be no task he couldn’t accomplish, and he was an exceptional friend to many. He was a dedicated dog father and more importantly, he was her world. His absence will forever leave a profound impact on her life.

The celebration marking Vistex’s 25th anniversary, held in India in January 2024, took an unfortunate turn. During the event, CEO Sanjay Shah and President Vishwanath Raju Datla were supposed to be lowered from an iron cage onto a platform. However, two wires broke, causing them to fall onto the concrete stage instead. This information was reported by The Times of India.
According to the newspaper report, Sanjay, aged 56, succumbed to his injuries in the hospital after the accident, whereas Vishwanath, who was 52 years old at the time, suffered a critical head injury and eventually passed away several months later.

In a 2022 Instagram video with UNICEF, Orlando Bloom shared that at age 19, he fell off a three-story building through a window. He and some friends were attempting to reach the rooftop terrace by scaling a drainpipe, but it gave way. As a result, Orlando suffered multiple broken vertebrae in his back. Remarkably, despite these injuries, he managed to survive the fall because his spinal cord remained undamaged.
In simpler terms, he shared that during his hospital stay, he was initially informed that he might never walk due to multiple accidents in his past. This news marked the start of a challenging and painful process for him, involving self-discovery and recognition of patterns in his life that contributed to these accidents. Ultimately, he suffered a severe injury – a near-fatal back fracture.
Upon leaving the hospital confined in a back brace, enduring immense physical and emotional discomfort, he confided in GQ in 2005 that he immediately plunged into socializing – even with his back brace still on. It took him around two months to acknowledge this was his life as he knew it, and he didn’t wish to jeopardize it.
Every moment of my life has been significantly shaped by that extraordinary experience, I confessed. I never truly grasped the impact until I felt the thrill of losing it all. Previously, I used to ride motorbikes and drive cars as if every road was a racetrack – it was absolutely reckless. It wasn’t about looking cool; rather, it was my affection for living dangerously. But now, I’ve learned to slow down and appreciate the journey.
