Sources suggest Sony will showcase more of the upcoming Marvel’s Wolverine game during a State of Play presentation later this month, and it might be released in 2026.
MP1st recently revealed details about Dragon Quest 7 Reimagined several months before the official announcement.
According to a source close to the project, the long-awaited PS5 game is expected to be released next year.
This fits with the idea that the game will be shown again soon, since PlayStation usually doesn’t start heavily promoting games until they’re almost ready to launch.
Adding to the growing buzz, the website reports that Marvel’s Venom – a game first revealed in the recent Insomniac Games data breach – is still actively being worked on.
The website thinks the game is still in development and won’t be released for a few years. They say the main character will be Eddie Brock, and his portrayal will be closer to the comic book version rather than the movie version played by Tom Hardy.
We don’t know when Marvel’s Venom game will be released, but given the success of Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales, it’s possible Insomniac Games is targeting a launch alongside the PS6, currently anticipated in late 2027. However, even if that’s the plan, a version for the PS5 is still likely.
