Only two months after its release in Japan, the first part of *Demon Slayer: Infinity Castle* arrived in U.S. theaters, and fans are loving it! Many are calling the animation, storyboarding, action sequences, and music some of the best ever seen, which explains the film’s huge popularity. This installment kicks off a planned three-part movie series that depicts the intense battle between the Demon Slayer Corps and the demons. Although Muzan has been poisoned, the remaining demons are determined to destroy the Corps now that their leader, Kagaya Ubuyashiki, is gone.

Beyond the Upper Rank demons, many others are strong enough to be considered Lower Ranks – a deliberate tactic by Muzan to exhaust the Demon Slayers. The first part of the story includes three significant fights while also introducing several storylines that will continue in the next part. Unfortunately, there’s been no news about what’s coming next, and a recent event missed the chance to share any updates, leaving fans eagerly awaiting news about the next movie’s release.

Demon Slayer Didn’t Share AnyInfinity Castle News on Aniplex Online Fest 2025

I was so excited for Aniplex Online Fest 2025! It happened right when the first part of *Demon Slayer: Infinity Castle* came out here in the US, which was perfect timing. They’d teased back in August that they’d be sharing all the latest anime news and updates from around the world, and honestly, the hype was real. This was the first big global event since the movie dropped, and when they announced *Demon Slayer* would be kicking things off with the opening sequence, I knew it was going to be amazing!

Aniplex Online Fest is a big yearly event streamed on YouTube, attracting thousands of anime fans eager for news. However, the entire *Demon Slayer* segment turned out to be just a promotion for what’s already been released, with no new information about what comes next. Since the first part is still being heavily promoted, we didn’t even get a small clue about when Part 2 might come out.

Don’t expect any big announcements from Ufotable for several weeks, especially while the anime is still playing in theaters. *Demon Slayer* has become a global phenomenon, with millions of viewers and the numbers continuing to grow.
