A major development in Wednesday’s Emmerdale (September 17th, 2025) could have serious consequences for Aaron Dingle (Danny Miller) and potentially lead to the downfall of his troubled husband, John Sugden (Oliver Farnworth).

On September 16th, John’s half-sister, Victoria (played by Isabel Hodgins), noticed he was acting strangely. This realization came after a conversation with their older half-brother, Robert (Ryan Hawley), who had been honest with her about John.

Robert has been framed for pushing John and Aaron off the gorge, but killer John is responsible.

John quickly finds himself in a tough spot and makes a risky move to protect himself, but he doesn’t have long to wait before hearing more about Aaron’s situation.
