The MCU Is About to Turn One of Its Weakest Characters Into the Strongest

For a long time, the Hulk was considered the most powerful being in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. But Marvel Studios regularly introduces new characters who shake up the power rankings. After being infused with the Harvest – a mix of DNA from powerful figures like Thanos and Captain Marvel – G’iah from *Secret Invasion* briefly held that title. Now, however, Bob Reynolds, also known as Sentry, from the upcoming *Thunderbolts* is the strongest. Beyond immense strength, Sentry also possesses a dangerous alter ego called the Void, which has the potential to destroy everything if not controlled.

Sentry’s biggest weakness is that he has to suppress most of his abilities to control the Void. Meanwhile, a less powerful character is about to become much stronger, and if their progress continues, they could eventually become a serious challenge to Sentry.

Katy Chen Is a Quick Learner in Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings

Shang-Chi is trapped in a difficult situation after escaping his cruel father. He attempts to start a new, ordinary life in San Francisco, working as a valet. He forms a close friendship with Katy Chen, but their bond is threatened when the dangerous Ten Rings organization arrives. Shang-Chi is forced to confront his past and reveal the truth about his father, Wenwu, who is searching for a way to reach the hidden village of Ta Lo, believing his deceased wife is being held there. With few options, Katy joins Shang-Chi on his journey to Ta Lo, determined to help him warn the villagers of the impending danger.

With a powerful ally at his side, the people of Ta Lo help Katy prepare for the upcoming fight. She quickly learns to use a bow and arrow, becoming a surprisingly skilled archer. Though she’s not quite an expert yet, she manages to strike a critical blow against the Dweller-in-Darkness, giving Shang-Chi the opening he needs to defeat the creature. Sadly, after appearing in the *Shang-Chi* movie, these characters haven’t been featured much, and have mostly appeared in animated shows. However, this might be a good thing for Katy, as she’s poised to gain access to incredibly powerful weapons.

Marvel Zombies Is Making Sure Katy Can Hold Her Own

The trailer for *Marvel Zombies*, a continuation of the *What If…?* episode “What If… Zombies?!,” is packed with exciting scenes. We see Blade in an intense fight, expertly battling the zombie Ghost, and Spider-Man unleashing his fury on a massive group of undead. But the biggest highlight comes when Shang-Chi appears, armed with his Ten Rings, ready to fight. He’s not alone though – his friend Katy fights alongside him, using the same powerful weapons.

The Ten Rings remain a mysterious force in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, but their power is undeniable. They granted the Mandarin the ability to conquer Asia, providing super strength and energy blasts. They also offer immortality, a useful advantage when facing zombies. Given Katy’s quick learning skills, she’ll likely master the Ten Rings easily and become a powerful figure in the zombie-filled world of *Marvel Zombies*.
