About The Legend of Steel Empire
Released in 1992 for the SEGA Mega Drive and later in 2004 for Game Boy Advance, *The Legend of Steel Empire* is a fast-paced shooting game developed by HOT-B. It stands out from other games in the genre thanks to its unique diesel-punk style, which blends steampunk with the industrial look of the late 1800s.
Prepare for a world where massive battleships dominate the skies and heavily armored trains transport enormous cannons. The Motorhead Empire has conquered almost the entire planet with its seemingly unstoppable flying fortresses. This is the story of *Steel Empire*, originally released for the SEGA Mega Drive in the early 90s – a classic ‘shoot ‘em up’ that has since been updated for several handheld consoles. *The Legend of Steel Empire* is the newest installment in this exciting series.
The newest installment in the series, *The Legend of Steel Empire*, is a remastered version of the 2018 PC game. This updated release boasts improved high-definition graphics, refined controls, and a leveling system – collect more items to become more powerful, but be warned: enemies will also grow tougher and appear in larger numbers! Players can choose to pilot a Striker airplane or a Zeppelin equipped with aerial mines, and battle through seven challenging stages filled with fast-paced, balanced shoot ’em up action. Simply put, it’s a lovingly restored remaster!
