WWE Hall of Famer Shocks the World at AEW All Out (And 3 Dream Matches We Want to See)

Okay, so AEW’s All Out is happening, and it kicked off *immediately* with a great match! I was really looking forward to seeing Adam Copeland and Christian Cage team up again, especially since they were facing off against FTR – those guys used to be friends, but now the heat is *real*. The match was awesome, but then… wow. A WWE Hall of Famer just debuted! Seriously, it came out of nowhere, and now I’m already daydreaming about at least three potential dream matches that *have* to happen.

During the wrestling match, FTR’s manager, Stokely Hathaway, was distracting everyone at ringside, but he quickly regretted it. Just then, a familiar song played and the name ‘Beth’ appeared on the screen. The crowd went wild as they realized it was WWE Hall of Famer Beth Phoenix, now known as Beth Copeland in AEW.

Beth immediately charged and powerfully knocked out Stokely. She then carried him out of the ring on her shoulders. Later, Beth celebrated her tough victory with Cope and Cage, but their celebration was short-lived.

FTR stormed the ring, quickly defeating Cage and then securing Cope by handcuffing him to the ropes. Beth remained unfazed, sharing a kiss with her husband before immediately turning to fight FTR. Despite her courage, she couldn’t overcome their combined strength. FTR then shockingly forced Cope to watch as they delivered a devastating Spike Piledriver to Beth. This rivalry is clearly escalating, and the consequences are becoming much more serious.

3 Dream Matches

With Beth Copeland officially joining AEW, fans are already imagining exciting matches for her. There are many women on the roster who could give her a tough fight, both in terms of strength and wrestling ability. While there are plenty of possibilities, three popular opponents immediately stand out as potential rivals.

3. Jamie Hayter

It’s great to see Jamie Hayter back from injury and immediately competing for the top spot at All Out. However, Hall of Famers don’t join a wrestling roster often, so even if Hayter wins the AEW Women’s Championship, a strong rivalry with someone who can challenge her intensity and strength would be fantastic – and that’s exactly what our next pick offers.

2. Willow Nightingale

Willow Nightingale is a naturally cheerful presence, but she’s also proven she can be a fierce competitor when needed. Throughout her time in AEW, including a memorable street fight against Kris Statlander, she’s demonstrated a tough side. Now, fans are eager to see what she’ll bring to a match with Beth Copeland.

As a wrestling fan, it feels like we could see a team-up match first, then maybe a singles match later on. It could also just be a one-time thing, though. Since both wrestlers are ‘good guys,’ they’d need a storyline to make it interesting, which is also true if they faced Hayter. But honestly, with the skills these performers have, I think building that story would be totally doable.

1. Kris Statlander

Kris Statlander is a strong contender for the World Women’s Title and a formidable opponent for Beth Phoenix. Their match promises a classic clash of power and resilience. Statlander might be the ideal next opponent for Beth, especially considering Statlander’s recent interactions with The Death Ryders. This could be a clever way to involve Brody King and Malakai Black in the storyline.

Statlander’s storyline has potential no matter which direction it goes. She could continue as a fan favorite who occasionally takes guidance from Moxley and his allies, or she could turn against them and join forces with the group. Either way, there’s a good story to be told. And in a match, Statlander has proven she can compete with anyone, and a fight with Beth Copeland would undoubtedly be impressive.
