Both the PS5 and PS4 are fantastic choices for playing classic Tomb Raider games, especially with the remastered collections available.
The game is about to become even more enjoyable, as it looks like Trophies for the classic *Tomb Raider: Anniversary* have been added to PlayStation Network.
This game will probably be available on the PS Store through emulation, as part of PlayStation’s collection of classic games offered with PS Plus Premium.
You might remember that Tomb Raider: Legend was one of the earliest PlayStation 2 games to use Sony’s emulator technology. Anniversary builds directly on that foundation.
This game is a reimagining of the classic Tomb Raider from 1996, with the original creator, Toby Gard, contributing to a richer storyline.
Okay, so the Trophies in this game look pretty standard. It seems like you get them for finishing each level, and also for being a completionist – collecting all the artifacts, relics, and cool outfits. Nothing too crazy so far!
We think this game will likely be added to the PS Plus Premium service in October, but we won’t know for sure until the announcement in the middle of the month.
Soon, almost all of the Tomb Raider games will be available on both PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4, with just one title, Tomb Raider Underworld, still missing.
