Zoe Slater (Michelle Ryan) has been dealt a big ultimatum after another dramatic day in EastEnders.

After Greg was arrested, Zoe found herself staying with Stacey, and she unexpectedly saw Sharon return to the Square.

Okay, so there was this intense moment – Zoe really held Sharon’s gaze, which clearly bothered her. Sharon was *furious* and immediately went to vent to her siblings, Vicki and Zack, about it. It was a classic soap opera move, honestly.

Vicki mentioned she’d already noted Zoe’s behavior, but Sharon pointed out that Zoe hadn’t just helped cover up their father Den’s murder – she’d also tried to sabotage Zoe’s relationship with Dennis Rickman by lying.

Sharon told Vicki that her mother, Michelle (played by Susan Tully and Jenna Russell), was relocating to Florida with Vicki’s younger brother, Mark Junior (Ned Porteous), and Vicki reacted with disdain.

Kat Moon was committed to helping Zoe find her son, as she’d promised, but Alfie was concerned. Stacey also noticed that Zoe wasn’t being completely honest about things.

Right as Sharon was about to talk to Zoe, the police arrived and took Zoe in for questioning.

Greg, recently accused of shooting Zoe, had previously claimed Zoe attacked him. This happened shortly after he held Kat, Zoe, and Stacey hostage.

Kat insisted that her ex-husband, Phil Mitchell, contact their lawyer, Ritchie Scott, at the police station. She brought up Zoe’s son, who had been estranged for a long time, and hinted that she felt bad about not having paid much attention to Zoe’s twin brother over the years.

Phil finally agreed, and while they waited for Zoe to be released, Alfie gently reminded Kat that finding a lost family member doesn’t always have a happy ending – a subtle hint about their own difficult experience finding her son in Ireland.

After Zoe was released from police custody, her family returned to The Queen Vic pub. Sharon arrived there and offered to make peace, explaining that although she couldn’t forgive what happened, she understood why Zoe had acted as she did regarding Den.

Alfie and Stacey had warned Kat about Zoe keeping secrets, so Kat told Zoe she needed to be completely honest. Otherwise, Kat wouldn’t help fund the search for her son.

Will Zoe reveal all?
