Rumour: Yakuza 0: Director’s Cut Coming to PS5 This Year After Stint of Switch 2 Exclusivity

Yakuza 0 is widely considered the best game in the Yakuza series, and it might be re-released for the PlayStation 5.

SEGA recently launched an updated version of the popular crime game *Yakuza 0* specifically for the Switch 2. This *Director’s Cut* includes extra scenes, a new co-op action mode, and the option to play with English voiceovers.

A new rumor suggests that Yakuza 0: Director’s Cut is heading to PS5. Polish website PPE, which recently predicted that Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 would arrive on PlayStation in November, now claims this version of the game is confirmed.

This information comes from an unconfirmed source, but a port of this game wouldn’t be surprising. When the Director’s Cut was announced, Nintendo stated it would be released on the Switch 2 before any other platform.

The RGG Summit will be livestreamed this Wednesday, September 24th, and an announcement is expected during the broadcast.

According to PPE, a physical copy of the Director’s Cut will also be available for PlayStation 5. Pre-orders are expected to open soon, with a release date of December 8th.

We’ll find out soon enough if this rumor is true, but honestly, I’d totally be up for playing Yakuza 0 again. It’s such a great game!

If a Director’s Cut of Yakuza 0 came to PlayStation 5, would you replay it? Let us know in the comments if you’d start your own hostess club!
