Recently, the cast of the show – including Jaz Sinclair, who plays Marie – talked about how the two superheroes compare in terms of power, and they’ve given a definitive answer about who would win in a fight.

Jaz Sinclair thinks Marie Moreau can take on Homelander from The Boys

Jaz Sinclair confidently stated in an interview with MovieWeb that her Gen V character could take on Antony Starr’s Homelander in a fight.

When asked if Marie was capable of defeating the dangerously unstable leader of The Seven, she responded with a simple, “I believe she is.”

During a conversation with ComicBook, Sinclair was asked whether Marie or Homelander was more powerful. She glanced at her Gen V co-star, London Thor, before Thor quickly answered, “Marie is.” Sinclair agreed, adding, “I think so, because of her blood abilities.”

Derek Luh, who plays Jordan Li alongside Thor in the show, explained that Marie has a way to defeat the Boys’ strongest enemy. He pointed out that even though he was enhanced with Compound V, he’s still fundamentally human, and she can control what’s happening inside his body.

After Chris Killian from ComicBook wondered if Marie might be the one to defeat Homelander in the final season of *The Boys*, Sinclair simply responded with a playful, “You wish,” offering no real answer.

Season 2 of Gen V has revealed a puzzling operation called ‘The Odessa Project.’ This project has a long history, starting back in the 1960s, and centers around Marie, played by Jaz Sinclair. Many viewers believe the project’s goal is to stop someone like Homelander, and that Marie’s special abilities are key to its success.

The actors on Gen V believe their character, Marie, could defeat Homelander. However, whether she actually can will likely be revealed when the two potentially face off in upcoming episodes of either Gen V Season 2 or The Boys Season 5.
