Perplexity now offers “Email Assistant,” an AI tool that helps you manage your inbox. It can schedule meetings, draft email replies, and generally handle your email for you. This feature works with both Outlook and Gmail, but it’s only available to subscribers of Perplexity’s premium “Max” plan, which costs $200 per month.
Perplexity boasts that its AI can transform your email inbox from a chaotic mess into an organized system of scheduled meetings, pre-written responses, and prioritized tasks. It automatically sorts your emails and uses labels, making it easy to identify and focus on what’s most important.
Perplexity will soon be able to help with your email by drafting responses that sound just like you. It will wait for your approval before sending anything. Plus, you can ask it to check your calendar and schedule meetings for you.
Perplexity explains that to easily schedule meetings, simply add the Perplexity Email Assistant to any meeting request. It will then automatically check your availability, propose suitable times, and send out invitations.
