The upcoming first-person shooter Painkiller, a fresh take on the classic game from the early 2000s, will be released on PS5 a little later than originally planned.
The relaunch was originally planned for October 9th, but has been moved to October 21st. While no official reason was given for the change, it’s likely a good move to avoid competing with other major releases, such as Ghost of Yotei, in a busy month.

While the delay might be frustrating, the new ‘Rogue Angel’ mode should help make up for it. It’s a completely separate experience from the main game, offering fast-paced, challenging fights and upgrades that only last for a short time.
You can get a look at the new mode in the above trailer.
