Qualcomm promises major improvements for PC gaming on Snapdragon-powered Windows 11 PCs — with anti-cheat support, Razer peripherals, and more in the pipeline

At yesterday’s Snapdragon Summit, Qualcomm announced significant upgrades are coming to gaming on Windows 11 PCs powered by Snapdragon processors. While gaming performance on these devices hasn’t been great so far, Qualcomm says they’re working on major improvements to fix that.

Qualcomm’s Kedar Kondap announced significant advancements in gaming, highlighting collaborations to expand the number of games available on Snapdragon platforms. The new Snapdragon X2 Elite Extreme delivers twice the performance of the current Snapdragon X Elite in popular, demanding games like Cyberpunk 2077 and Red Dead Redemption 2, representing a major performance improvement over the past year.

Kondap also announced that Epic is extending its Anti-Cheat software and Game Services to support Windows on Arm devices. This means Windows Insiders can now access a wider range of games, including popular titles like Fortnite and Gears of War: Reloaded, with many more games becoming available.

Epic isn’t the only company enabling support for Windows on Arm. Razer also announced it’s bringing its Razer Synapse software to Arm-based PCs. This means users with Snapdragon processors will be able to fully customize their Razer accessories – including RGB lighting – without any compatibility problems. Razer’s CEO revealed these plans during a recent presentation.

Qualcomm revealed that the new game, Alien: Rogue Incursion, will run on Snapdragon PCs. It will use the PC’s built-in AI processing unit to create a special in-game experience, recognizing characters in real-time using advanced language technology. No further information about the game was shared.

Voicemod, a favorite among gamers, is now compatible with Windows on Arm devices. It uses the special Snapdragon processor (NPU) to handle voice changing effects, so you can modify your voice – like making it sound robotic – without slowing down your computer’s main processor or graphics card.

It’s still unclear exactly when all these improvements will arrive for Windows 11 on Arm processors. Qualcomm states that testing of Epic’s Anti-Cheat is underway in the Windows Insider Canary Channel, with a potential rollout sometime in 2026. However, we don’t yet have timelines for when Razer and Voicemod plan to release their Arm-compatible updates.
