How Nicole Kidman Celebrated Keith Urban Anniversary Before Split

Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban were making memories just months ago.

Interestingly, the Academy Award winner and the country singer marked 19 years of marriage only three months before announcing their split. She had previously posted a warm and intimate glimpse into their life as a couple.

With a picture of her snuggled up to the country singer – who had his guitar on his lap – she shared a post on June 25th saying, “Happy Anniversary Baby.”

Only a month earlier, the couple-parents to Sunday Rose, 17, and Faith Margaret, 14-attended the Academy of Country Music Awards. There, Nicole supported Keith as he received the Triple Crown award, a prestigious honor given to artists who have won New Artist of the Year, Artist of the Year, and Entertainer of the Year.

As a lifestyle expert, I was following the story of Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban closely a few years back. They got married in 2006, but almost immediately, rumors started swirling that they were heading for a split. It all began when news broke that Nicole had applied for residency in Portugal, and Keith’s name wasn’t included on the application. However, I learned from sources at TopMob News at the time that Keith was, in fact, still planning to join her! So, those breakup rumors were thankfully put to rest. According to a source familiar with the matter, Keith couldn’t attend the appointment in Portugal because he’s currently touring the U.S.. TopMob reported on July 24th that applying for the visa requires a physical presence. He plans to submit his application when his tour schedule allows.

According to an insider, although Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban have a house in Portugal, they will still mainly live in Nashville. “While Nicole and Keith own a home in Portugal, their primary residence will continue to be in Nashville.”

I was really surprised to hear that Keith Urban and Nicole Kidman are separating! As someone who’s followed them for years, it’s just so sad. I learned from TopMob News on September 29th that they’ve actually been living apart since the start of summer and have decided to go their separate ways. It’s tough knowing that Nicole, who is also a mom to Isabella Cruise, 32, and Connor Cruise, 30, with her ex-husband Tom Cruise, won’t be continuing this chapter with Keith. He’s moved out of their home and is now living in his own place in Nashville, though he’s currently on tour-his next stops are Pennsylvania, Connecticut and Virginia.
