The Pokémon pop-up shop will be open at the Natural History Museum from Monday, January 26th, 2026, until Sunday, March 22nd, 2026.
You have two full months to experience the joy of Pokémon, which is guaranteed to lift your spirits during the dark winter months.
Even though the event has been running for quite a while, tickets are still limited, so you should act quickly if you’re hoping to attend.

How to get tickets for Pokémon at the Natural History Museum
If you want tickets to visit the Pokémon pop-up shop at the Natural History Museum, you’ll need to get them through the museum’s website.
The tickets are free, however, this also means a lot of people might reserve them and then not actually attend, so it’s best to act quickly. Don’t delay!

Unfortunately, the page indicates the priority ticket list is currently full. However, as of today, October 1st, any remaining tickets are expected to become available later today.
If you’re patient and a little lucky, you might be able to get tickets. Please note that tickets won’t be sold at the venue, so you’ll need to book them online using the link above, as long as there are any left.
We limit groups to a maximum of four people. If you’re traveling with a larger party, please make separate reservations.
Where is the Pokémon Natural History Museum pop-up shop?
A temporary Pokémon pop-up shop, inspired by the Natural History Museum, will be located inside the Cranbourne Boutique at the Natural History Museum in London.
The museum is located in South Kensington, right near Kensington Gardens. The nearest subway stop is also South Kensington, and it’s only a short walk away – just a few minutes, in fact. You can easily get there from the station.
The hotel is well-served by bus routes, and many other places of interest are easily reachable on foot. These include Kensington Gardens, Kensington Palace, and the V&A Museum, which is located right next door. There are plenty of options for getting around and exploring.
And that’s not to forget the Natural History Museum – you could easily lose a whole day, or even several, exploring it.
What to expect from Pokémon at the Natural History Museum
The Natural History Museum will be hosting a special Pokémon event, temporarily changing its Cranbourne Boutique shop into a limited-time pop-up store.
The Pokémon pop-up shop will feature items like clothing, stationery, a new exclusive plush toy, and other merchandise, as stated on the official Pokémon website.
If you’re lucky enough to get a ticket, your visit will likely be scheduled for about 30 minutes, giving you ample time to enjoy the rest of the museum.
If you can’t attend the event, the Pokémon x Natural History Museum products will also be sold through the Natural History Museum online shop.
