A new downloadable content pack is available now for *Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds*, bringing the world of *Minecraft* to the game! For $4.99, or as part of the Season Pass, you can add Steve, Alex, and the Creeper as playable racers, each with six unique emotes. The update also includes a new kart called the Minecart and a *Minecraftthemed race track. You can watch the release trailer below.
New music tracks have been added for different areas of the game, including the Intro, Overworld, and Nether. You can still enjoy the original songs like Comforting Memories, Infinite Amethyst, and Pigstep. To celebrate the release of the new content, the Minecraft Festival is happening now until October 12th at 7:59 PM EDT.
Players can get a new title, stickers, a horn, and a special gadget just by participating and earning Festival Points! If you don’t get the gadget right away, it will be available in future updates, and there might be other ways to earn the other rewards later on.
Keep an eye out for the *SpongeBob SquarePants* pack coming in late 2025 – we’ll share more details soon, and you can find the development roadmap here. *Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds* is currently available on Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, PC, and Nintendo Switch, and a version for the new Switch 2 will be released later this year.
