I’m most excited for Marvel’s next movie, *Avengers: Doomsday*. It’s going to unite a fantastic group of heroes from the Marvel Cinematic Universe and the X-Men, and it’s the first *Avengers* film since *Endgame* in 2019. Recent comments from Simu Liu about potential co-stars and how worth it the movie will be have made me even more eager to see this team-up!

At New York Comic Con, Simu Liu shared his reaction to being asked to join the cast of *Avengers: Doomsday*. He initially joked that it was long overdue, then explained how meaningful it was to him to be able to continue his role as Shang-Chi within the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

It was an amazing call to receive, and I was immediately thrilled. I went through several waves of excitement, especially when I found out who else would be involved – people I’d either met before or had long admired. They were all truly iconic figures.

Knowing how enthusiastic Liu has been about *Doomsday* and how thrilled he is to be in the movie, I was already impressed. It’s hard to believe such a talented group of actors will actually be sharing the screen together, just like him.
