Wicked: For Good director teases “extraordinary” Scarecrow and Tin Man reveal

During a discussion at the 2025 London Film Festival, director Chu revealed that the characters of the Tin Man and the Scarecrow won’t be created with digital effects. Instead, they’ll feature impressive, practical makeup and hair designs, bringing something truly special to the screen.

I wasn’t able to share this with anyone beforehand, but when you see it, understand that it had to be perfect. The team who created it is truly outstanding.
