James McAvoy, famous for playing Professor Charles Xavier in the X-Men movies and many other popular films and TV shows, will be at the NEC on November 29th and 30th.
He’ll be the focus of a panel discussion about his successful career on Saturday, and he’ll be signing autographs and taking photos with fans both days of the event.
He first became well-known for playing Steve McBride in the Channel 4 series Shameless. Since then, he’s appeared in a variety of acclaimed films like The Last King of Scotland, Atonement, Filth, and It Chapter Two, establishing himself as one of the UK’s most talented actors.
He recently appeared in the horror remake *Speak No Evil*. He also directed *California Schemin’*, a biopic about the Scottish rap duo Silibil N’ Brains, which premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival.
Throughout the weekend at MCM Birmingham Comic Con, he’ll be meeting fans alongside other special guests like Ben Whitehead, the voice of Wallace & Gromit’s Shaun, and Mathew Horne, known for his role in Gavin & Stacey.
Fans will also have the chance to meet voice actors Christine Marie Cabanos and Mela Lee, who star in Demon Slayer, as well as Charles Martinet, the iconic voice of Mario.
