Bobby Bones thinks Hilaria Baldwin needs to look in the mirror(ball).
As a big fan of *Dancing with the Stars*, I was really upset to hear Hilaria say she felt bullied after being eliminated. Bobby, who was on season 27 with Sharna Burgess, actually spoke about it, sharing his thoughts on what happened with Hilaria’s departure from the show.
In a TikTok posted on October 13th, Bobby discussed Hilaria Baldwin’s claims of being bullied on *Dancing With the Stars*. He shared that, having personally experienced negativity from the show’s dedicated fans, he believes bullying isn’t the reason contestants are eliminated. He explained that people are voted off because they don’t receive enough votes, not because of bullying.
Bobby noted that while he was “bullied like crazy,” he still got votes that took him to the end.
He strongly disagreed with that claim. He said she was a talented dancer who clearly had a lot of experience, but insisted she wasn’t forced off the show. He doesn’t know her personally, but believes she was eliminated simply because the audience didn’t connect with her.
Even though he won with Sharna in 2018, he understands the show has a very dedicated fanbase.
He described the most dedicated fans of *Dancing With the Stars* as exceptionally harsh. While he appreciated the casual viewers who simply enjoy the show, he felt the hardcore fans were unpleasant and negative people.

Hilaria Baldwin and her dance partner Gleb Savchenko were eliminated from the show after performing a *Star Warsthemed dance on Disney Night. Hilaria shares six children – Carmen (11), Rafael (10), Leonardo (8), Romeo (7), Eduardo and María Lucía (both 4), and Ilaria (2) – with her husband, Alec Baldwin. Although she later mentioned experiencing bullying following the elimination, both she and Gleb seemed to handle the news well at first.
We’re doing alright, all things considered,” she said to TopMob News after they were eliminated, speaking alongside Gleb. “It’s tough, but we’re managing. It’s a bit of a mixed bag of emotions right now.
At the time, Hilaria emphasized that winning isn’t the most important thing.
I remember when we first arrived in LA, I asked my daughter – I’m very open with my kids – ‘What if I’m eliminated right away?’ She simply said, ‘Mom, at least you tried,’ and that’s what I hope they always remember about me: that I gave it my best shot.
During an Instagram Live a few days later, however, she was dancing to another tune.
Hilaria admitted on October 12th that she was driven off the show by online bullying during her four weeks on *Dancing with the Stars*. She confirmed, “I definitely was bullied off the show.”
