Meghan Markle will be sharing the love this holiday season.
When questioned about a possible third season of her Netflix series, *With Love, Meghan*, the Duchess of Sussex suggested it might not happen, but shared news about what’s coming next for her and Prince Harry.
She announced at Fortune’s Most Powerful Women Summit on October 14th that a holiday special will be released in November, describing it as “really good.”
As for what it may entail? Meghan noted, “I do lots of gift wrapping techniques.”
The next season of the show might be quite different from the first two.
Creating the show was a huge learning experience,” she said. “Eight episodes across two seasons—it took a lot of effort.”
After working on *Suits* for seven years, I understand how much effort goes into making a show. I also know people enjoy content in various formats. We’re currently exploring different ways to deliver that content – like offering a quick two-minute recipe alongside a full 30-minute show – and figuring out the best platforms to share it all.
Meghan, mother to Prince Archie, 6, and Princess Lilibet, 4, with her husband Prince Harry, has often talked about how much she enjoys sharing her interests and hobbies on the show.
Meghan recently shared with *People* magazine that becoming a mother and wife allowed her to rediscover parts of herself. She explained that as her children get older, she’s finding it wonderful to be able to focus on those personal aspects of her identity that were always there but previously difficult to prioritize.
However, having her family visit her on-set made the experience even more special.
Meghan shared that she was happy her children got to see her working and understand her job. It was a new experience for them, as they hadn’t previously seen what she did for work, and she found it very meaningful.
She added, “I hope that when they get old enough, they feel really proud.”

Meghan Markle shared in season two that she made husband Prince Harry and his friends custom baseball hats bearing “PH40″—his initials and age—in honor of his 40th birthday in September 2024.
Before heading to Malibu for a getaway with her friend Heather Dorak, Meghan talked about how she’s grown and changed since her twenties.
We initially bonded over our shared interest in health and fitness, running together regularly. Now, we’re both mothers of two, and our husbands have become close friends as well. It’s wonderful to see how our friendship has grown and changed over time.
The former Suits star went on to share how her thoughts about aging have evolved as well.
She described her life stages as a positive journey: the self-discovery of your twenties, finding your footing in your thirties, and truly coming into your own in your forties. She felt it was necessary to experience each phase to reach a place of self-acceptance and comfort – both with who she is as a woman and with her body.
It’s just… seeing them now, relaxing with cookies and wine, it’s everything! Meghan said it perfectly – it feels like they’ve finally moved into a completely new chapter, a different *era*, and honestly, it warms my heart so much. It’s like they’re finally just… happy and normal, and I’m living for it!
Meghan said she hadn’t seen a former colleague from *Deal or No Deal* in nearly 20 years, but they recently reconnected after she reached out a couple of years ago.
When they finally got together in season two, the pair reminisced about old times on set.
“I remember all having to stand in line,” Meghan recalled, “to get our lashes put on in a row.”
Meghan Markle, the Duchess of Sussex, revealed she’s been following Chrissy Teigen’s work, even though they haven’t seen each other recently.
Meghan told her, ‘After I stopped working on that show, you became really famous. I remember being so surprised to see you on the cover of *Sports Illustrated*… You were always so kind.’
When Meghan mispronounced “Hawthorn” as “Honsworth,” Chrissy playfully suggested it was a secret reveal of the name of her third child.
As the Cravings cookbook author noted, “I was like, ‘You have a kid named Honsworth?'”
Meghan playfully responded, “You’ve never heard of my child? And honestly, if I *could* have kept a secret like that under wraps, that would be amazing.”
Prince Harry made a quick appearance in season two with Meghan and Clare Smyth, the chef who catered their 2018 wedding. Clare had flown to California for the episode, and the three of them took a photo together with the caption, “Surprise Visit!”
Meghan, mother to Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, lovingly described her son Archie as a remarkably sweet and adorable child.
“I always wanted to be a mom,” Meghan added. “I love it. It’s better than I even expected.”
Meghan had to face the music after her move from London to California.
“I really miss listening to the radio station Magic from the U.K.,” she told Tan France. “I’m going to be the grandma who still loves it!”
These days, she noted her playlists can range from soul to country music.
She said her favorite radio station in the car is called ‘Mom Jeans.’ It plays older songs that are perfect for singing along to – the kind you’d forgotten about.
Cooking might be one of Meghan’s love languages, but her dishes don’t always turn out egg-celent.
She shared that she made roast chicken the night her husband proposed, and they even served it at their wedding. It’s become a weekly tradition for her. She also fondly remembered that when she first cooked for her future husband, she was still learning to convert between Celsius and Fahrenheit.
She admitted she’d cooked a really bad chicken that night, but said the important thing is that even if you mess up, someone will still appreciate the effort you put in.
During Clare’s episode, she mentioned that Harry playfully teases her for saying “herbs” without the ‘H,’ pointing out that she pronounces it the American way.
The actress explained that she consulted an Ayurvedic doctor—a traditional Indian medicine practitioner—during her pregnancy. However, she told guest Samin Nosrat she had to eat a large quantity of dates, which she found difficult. She emphasized, “So many.”
Everyone knows how much Meghan enjoys a good homemade jam, but I learned from the first season of her show that she *really* started getting serious about making preserves after she and Harry settled into their place in Montecito. It’s so lovely to see her embracing that cozy, domestic side of life!
While picking berries, Meghan mentioned on the second episode of *With Love, Meghan* that the vines were already growing there when she and Harry first moved in, and that they sparked her interest in making jam and preserves.
As for Meghan’s favorite preserve?
The Duchess of Sussex shared that making apple butter reminds her of her grandmother, making it a cherished tradition. She loves that her children, Archie and Lilibet, now experience the same joy – coming home to the warm, sweet smell of fruit slowly cooking and knowing Mom is making preserves.
In fact, Meghan said Lili has even tried her hand at preserve-making.
I love involving my daughter, Lili, in things like making jam! We actually made a batch together recently, and it was so sweet. She helped me pick all the strawberries, and then insisted on taking over the stirring and mashing – she’s so eager to learn! Of course, I made sure she stayed clear of the hot parts while she poured everything in, but honestly, seeing her so proud of herself? That’s the best part of it all. It just feels good to share those moments and watch her gain confidence.
However, it appears Harry, who made a cameo on season one, has some culinary skills too.
Meghan revealed in the fifth episode that her husband, affectionately known as H, is an excellent cook, especially when it comes to breakfast.
The duchess also offered some insight into how the Duke of Sussex likes to season his food.
Meghan shared that her husband has a habit of adding salt to his food *before* even tasting it. Because of this, she now tries to use less salt when she cooks.
Meghan describes her fashion sense as ‘high-low,’ meaning she likes to combine designer or high-end items with more affordable pieces.
The actress, known for her role in *Suits*, described what she wore when she hosted Mindy Kaling for a tea party during the first season. She revealed she paired Zara pants with a top by Loro Piana and a sweater from Jenni Kayne.
The show highlights Meghan’s passions for things like hosting, cooking, gardening, and interior design, while also revealing some of her other hobbies and interests.
For instance, in one episode, she hosted a game night for her friends.
We’ve all been learning mahjong together recently,” she explained. “Mahjong originated in China in the 1800s, and we play the American version. I’ve really come to appreciate that the game is enjoyable, but even more than that, it’s been wonderful learning something new with friends, and the game has become a backdrop for strengthening our friendships.”
During a recent conversation, Vicky Tsai, founder of Tatcha, mentioned that Meghan enjoys playing pickleball. Meghan also shared some of her favorite types of music.
In episode five, Meghan shared that she enjoys listening to ’70s soft rock, yacht rock, soul music, and music you might hear at a French dinner party.
And when it come to food, she said she has a “very, very high tolerance” for spice.
Growing up, we didn’t have much money, but my mom made sure we traveled whenever possible. She was a travel agent and always encouraged us to experience new cultures and cuisines. She was a fantastic cook, especially when it came to Soul food – it’s full of rich, bold flavors and a bit of spice. I really miss that taste and always seek out food with that same level of heat. Now, I’m introducing my own family to the kinds of flavors I grew up loving, and they’re enjoying it too.
In the second episode of her podcast, Meghan shared that she ate a lot of fast food and TV dinners while growing up.
She recalled in the second episode that things felt very different back then, but that was just normal life for her – things like microwavable kids’ meals with divided sections, watching *Jeopardy!*, and eating a lot of fast food. That’s how she grew up.
Her favorites at the time?
Oh my gosh, you will NOT believe what Meghan said! She used to be, like, totally obsessed with Pollo Loco and Taco Bell – and not just any Taco Bell, she’d LOAD up her Mexican pizza with extra hot sauce! It was amazing. And the sweetest part? She said her mom *loved* Jack in the Box tacos, so they’d always get those together. It’s just… perfect, honestly.
Meghan didn’t just share memories of her early years; she also talked about her experiences as a Girl Scout.
She shared that she was in Girl Scouts for many years, beginning as a Daisy when she was five or six. She remembers selling lots of cookies, and her mom was the leader of Troop 949.
Even after stopping their official duties as senior royals in 2020, Harry and Meghan retained their titles as the Duke and Duchess of Sussex.
And in With Love, Meghan, she explained why the Sussex name is so meaningful to her.
In episode two, Meghan playfully pointed out to Mindy that she’s now known as Sussex, not Meghan Markle. She explained that having children made her realize how important sharing a family name is. She hadn’t expected it to mean so much, but she cherishes being able to say, ‘This is our family name – our little family name.’
Speaking of Archie and Lili, Meghan offered a few insights into their world in the series.
The mom of two shared that her children also enjoy gardening, and they even have their own gardening tools. She said they’re really dedicated to it. She also mentioned her daughter loves the color pink and has a special song she sings while cleaning up.
Meghan shared in episode five that Lili has a little song she sings about tidying up: “Clean as you go. Clean, clean, clean, clean, clean as you go.”
I was so charmed to hear Meghan share some sweet moments from her family life! She talked about how they make sun tea together, and a really adorable story about Archie catching a trout while fishing. It was lovely to hear how much she enjoys cooking with her kids, too – it sounds like they have such fun in the kitchen!
She explained in the fifth episode that creating these experiences and memories was really important to her. She wanted her children to remember things like, ‘Mom used to make this,’ and cherish those times together.
Long before she was an actress or a duchess, Meghan had her first job at an ice cream shop.
In episode five of With Love, Meghan, she recalled that her very first job, when she was 13 years old, was at Humphrey Yogart.
Later on, Meghan helped make doughnuts.
She mentioned on the show that doughnuts always bring back childhood memories for her. She used to work at a small doughnut shop called Lil Orbits Donuts, where they made incredibly small, mini doughnuts to sell at craft fairs, and she was involved in helping out.
And when she was in college, Meghan worked at a bar in Chicago.
In episode seven, a Northwestern University graduate recalled their post-graduation plans: initially considering any job to earn extra money, even a coat-check position in Chicago. They were surprised when offered a job as a cocktail waitress instead.
After a customer’s complicated martini order left her flustered, Meghan said her boss told her to return to her previous role at the coat check.
In addition, Meghan shared that before becoming famous, she had several interesting jobs, including teaching gift-wrapping and bookmaking at Paper Source, and working as a hostess at Mirabelle Restaurant on Sunset Boulevard.
In the fourth episode, Meghan hosts a gathering with Delfina Blaquier, the wife of Nacho Figueras, and shares her thoughts on her experiences living abroad.
The Duchess shared that she fell in love with Argentina because it felt similar to California, with its mountains and vibrant outdoor lifestyle. Although she only spent a few months there as an intern at the U.S. embassy, she really enjoyed her time.
As someone who’s followed Meghan’s journey, I remember when she landed the role of Rachel Zane on *Suits* back in 2011 – it was such an exciting time! She’s talked about how unforgettable it was finding out she’d be moving to Toronto to film the show. It really launched her career, and she’s always cherished that moment.
She explained that when the show was picked up, it was filmed in Toronto. “So what did that mean for me?” she wondered on the second episode. “One season in Toronto was amazing, but then it became two. I started to think, ‘Would I have to move my life there?’ Luckily, I love Canada, and I made an effort to host the cast and even people I met while walking my dog.”
In fact, her costar Abigail Spencer appears in one of the With Love, Meghan episodes.
In January 2025, Meghan announced her beloved dog, Guy, passed away.
The cute beagle appeared in multiple episodes of the Netflix show, and Meghan had previously shared how much she loved him.
She confessed in episode four that she’d do anything for Guy, and he was well aware of it. She explained that he could be whatever she needed – sometimes sweet, sometimes playful, sometimes a bit mischievous, but always someone she indulged.
And he was always by her side.
She explained that Guy is always by her side, like a constant companion. They’ve been together for a very long time, ever since she lived in Toronto. He was originally found in the woods in Kentucky and has since traveled with her to the U.K., back to Canada, and then to California. She feels he’s lived a full life and has many stories to share.
After the season one finale, Meghan shared that the show was dedicated to the memory of Guy.
