Gaming Factory’s drifting game, *JDM: Japanese Drift Master*, will be available on Xbox Series X/S starting November 21st, after its initial release on PC last May. PlayStation 5 players can look forward to it in early 2026. You can watch the announcement trailer below.
Okay, so the game drops you into this cool world called Guntama, which is based on Japan. I play as Thomas, a guy who moves from Europe to Japan after his dad passes away and leaves him a garage. I quickly team up with a local named Hideo, and together we get sucked into the underground street racing scene. It’s all about building up my car and battling rivals, and the story unfolds like a manga, with these awesome illustrated panels guiding you through each chapter.
One of the game’s biggest features is its huge open world, stretching over 250 kilometers. It includes changing weather, a full day and night cycle, and plenty of things to do. Although it had some issues at launch (you can read our review for details), several updates have been released to fix problems and improve how it runs.
In November, a new downloadable content pack called *Made in USA* will be released. It features six vehicles modeled after classic American muscle cars and includes 30 new parts for customization. We’ll share more information about the release date soon.
