The first paid downloadable content for *Shinobi: Art of Vengeance*, called *Sega Villains Stage*, will be released in early 2026 and features three villains from other Sega games. Previously announced villains Dr. Eggman (*Sonic the Hedgehog*) and Death Adder (*Golden Axe*) will be joined by Goro Majima from *Like a Dragon*.
It’s definitely a surprising addition, particularly considering Majima’s role has been somewhat in-between in recent games. However, the concept art looks promising, and it will be interesting to see how he and the other villains play a part in this new DLC and if they can challenge Joe Musashi.
We don’t know how much the *Sega Villains Stage* DLC will cost on its own, but it’s part of the Deluxe Edition. We’ll share more information about when it’s coming out in the next few months, possibly at The Game Awards 2025.
You can play *Shinobi: Art of Vengeance* on Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, PC, and Nintendo Switch. We recently reviewed the game and gave it a 9/10, highlighting its impressive art style, exciting combat, and well-designed levels.
