A year after the death of his One Direction bandmate, Louis has recently shared how difficult it continues to be to come to terms with the loss.
Louis, who lost his mother in 2016 and his sister in 2019, told *The Independent* in an October 18th interview that he’d mistakenly believed his previous experiences with loss would help him cope. He said he thought being familiar with grief might make a difference, but it didn’t.
