Nara Smith Reveals Which Names She Almost Gave Baby No. 4

Nara Smith‘s baby-naming process wasn’t exactly a piece of cake.

The TikTok star, who just had her fourth child with her husband Lucky Blue Smith, shared that she thought of several names before deciding on Fawnie Golden Smith.

Nara shared on TikTok on October 17th that she’s collected a list of baby names she loved but didn’t choose for her latest child. She explained that her children all have unusual names – Rumble Honey, Slim Easy, Whimsy Lou, and now Fawnie Golden – and since this is her last baby, it’s also the last time she’ll be sharing a video like this.

I absolutely adore the names Nara suggests! For boys, she mentioned Denim Dice, which I think would be *so* sweet for twins. She also loves Silver, Gray, and Walker. And honestly, Lucky is fantastic, though she admits it’s because it’s her husband’s name – and I can totally see why she’s partial to it!

As a lifestyle expert, I’m always asked about unique baby names, and honestly, my list for girls is growing! I’m really drawn to names that feel delicate and a little bit whimsical. Lately, I’ve been loving names like Lace, Ruffle, Flora, Jo, and Wonder. Dainty, Penny, and Meadow are also high on my list – they just feel so sweet! And for something a little different, Ribbon is adorable. Plus, as a longtime Dr. Seuss fan, I’m a big fan of the name Zola – it has that same playful energy!

But that’s not all that nearly made it past the brainstorming stage.

I’m completely obsessed with unique names, and a few of my favorites are Whisper and Lilac. I recently had the chance to visit Bunny Mellon’s estate – it’s been a dream of mine for ages! I honestly adore the name Bunny as a first name paired with Mellon. Besides those, I’m also a big fan of Prim, which feels beautifully classic, and Poppy – it’s just so charming.

Even though Nara may not have been able to use these names personally, she hopes others will like them.

The 24-year-old model ended her video by saying she hoped it gave some inspiration to anyone struggling to choose a baby name, as it was a particularly difficult process for her.

Nara felt the same way while she was pregnant, and had previously talked about the baby names she didn’t like.

Nara shared in a June video that she’s expecting her fourth child and is six months pregnant. She mentioned it’s becoming increasingly difficult to find unique names for her children, but she wanted to share some of her favorite names that she’s decided not to use.

The list of potential baby names included Moss, Goody, Dare, Champ, and Sundae for boys, and Twinkle, Velvet, Berry, and Shimmer for girls.

She also mentioned a name she liked, but her dog, Lucky, disliked it so much that they didn’t even consider it: Butter.

I was so fascinated when Elon Musk and Grimes announced their son’s birth back in May 2020 – and his name was just incredible: X Ɔ A-12! It turned out the name didn’t quite fit California’s rules for legal names, which only allow English letters. So, they made a small change, switching the ’12’ to ‘Xii’, and now his name is officially X Ɔ A-Xii. It’s still so unique and I love that they found a way to make it work!

Grimes explained on Twitter that ‘X’ represents an unknown variable. ‘Ɔ’ is her elven-inspired way of spelling ‘AI,’ which stands for either love or artificial intelligence. ‘A-12’ refers to an aircraft that came before their favorite, the SR-17. She emphasized it’s built for speed, not combat – it’s powerful but non-violent.

Grimes revealed that her favorite song is titled “Archangel,” adding a rat and sword emoji and simply stating, “Metal rat.”

Oh my gosh, Exa? It’s not just a cool name, you guys! It’s actually a nod to exaFLOPS, which is, like, a ridiculously fast speed for computers – a quintillion calculations *per second*! And Dark? It’s not just about being spooky! It’s…it’s the unknown! People are scared of it, but it’s really just…no photons. It’s the beautiful mystery of everything, dark matter! It’s just…so poetic, right?

SiderƦl (pronounced sigh-deer-ee-el) represents universal time, measured by the stars and deep space, rather than time as we experience it on Earth. The name also pays tribute to Galadriel, a character from *The Lord of the Rings*, who chooses to relinquish power.
