Jennifer Lawrence may hope Robert Pattinson has no hard feelings about her dinner party story.
The actress from *The Hunger Games* shared a story about getting to know her *Twilight* costar on the set of their new movie, *Die My Love*. She described how he unexpectedly joined a girls’ night she was hosting in December 2024 after wrapping up work. Since she and her friends had already eaten, she had to get creative and find something for him to eat.
Jennifer recounted on *The Graham Norton Show* that when a guest arrived, he immediately asked for food, saying he was starving. She invited him in, and while he was using the bathroom, she quickly salvaged food from her trash can to offer him.
She remembered the surprised look on her friends’ faces, and how she’d simply waved it off with a reassuring “it’s fine.” Just then, Robert emerged from the bathroom and started eating the meal she’d quickly prepared.
She went on to say it felt like they were all just watching him make a mess. And then, after he finished, he acted like he hadn’t had enough.
She realized he wasn’t bothered by eating the discarded food. When she pointed out it was actually in the trash, he casually replied that he didn’t care.
Jennifer was amazed by what happened next. “He simply picked it up from the trash and continued eating,” she said.

Although Robert is four years older than Jennifer, at 39 to her 35, she’s discovered he’s very playful and young at heart. This might explain why he doesn’t seem to mind eating food from the trash!
She playfully said she felt like a mother hen towards him, adding that she doubted he’d even remember to put on a coat or eat his meals on schedule.
Despite everything, she pointed out that he’s responsible when it counts. She also praised him, saying, “He’s a wonderful father, a dedicated professional, and always punctual.”
Becoming a father is a new experience for Robert Pattinson, who welcomed his daughter with fiancée Suki Waterhouse last year. The 19-month-old has already had a big impact on his life, both at home and in his career.
He told *Harper’s Bazaar* in May that having a baby surprisingly gave him a huge boost of energy and new ideas. He explained that since his daughter was born, he’s felt more motivated and inspired at work.

As a lifestyle observer, I’ve always been fascinated by stories that explore the hidden currents beneath the surface of wealth and privilege. That’s exactly what you get in *Cosmopolis*, where Robert Pattinson plays Eric Packer, a young billionaire. The film follows him on a single, strange journey across Manhattan – a limo ride to get a haircut, if you can believe it! But it’s so much more than that; along the way, he encounters a series of unusual characters who really start to unravel his carefully constructed world. It’s a fascinating look at modern life and the things that truly matter.

It’s so intense, watching them work together… or, well, Pearce making Pattinson work. I’ve watched it like a million times!
